It’s more “fuel” to drive my Volt than the Performance Model 3.

OH I know I will. I am just trying to figure out if the extra 10k is worth it between the SR+ and LR AWD. Even threw it out there with the wife to dump the van and plug in hybrid and get 2 SR+ but that is probably extreme so quick

It’s more “fuel” to drive my Volt than the Performance Model 3.

I can relate. I drive a Kia Optima Plug-in. Gets 29 miles out of 8.5-9 Killos and while that covers most/all my commute I honestly hate how slow it accelerates on electric only and having to still maintain a ICE too. I do like not having to go to the gas station for 1-2k miles though. I think...

How do you keep the car unlocked in the garage?

This seems to be the way things are moving these days. I just got a new front door deadbolt and now my phone is my key to the house too. Geo fenced so when I walk up, it unlocks. I guess I can't run out of battery power though while at the neighbors.

    Regenerative Braking Behavior Poll

Tesla loan comparison spreadsheet - auto updates hourly

So I have done car loans twice in the spring before and have had good luck with rates in the past but I guess not this year. I was always able to find something under 2 but seems very regionalized right now. I am hoping my local CU does a Memorial deal like they've done in the past but they...

Converting 110 outlets for home charging ?

Thank you, that make sense so it doesn't matter what you are connected with, there is standard draws from the car so a moderate pace will help reduce the overall draw. But from a electricity from the grid standpoint, is the 240 more efficient than 120 at putting AC > DC or is it more...

Converting 110 outlets for home charging ?

I am looking at getting a M3 soon as was wondering about charging at home. I have access to free charging at work so would like to use that but in the case I charge at home. I also happen to have 2x 20 amp 120v and 2x 20 amp 240v outlets for brewing in my garage. I have ready in this thread...
