This is why it’s very important to walk around your car with service tech before handing it over. Also, taking a video is vital for proof. My BMW service advisor always does a walk around and inside check before accepting delivery so the owner doesn’t try and make a claim of damage.

This may sound nutty but have you actually tried using the cup holders in the iX? I use this feature every single day and it’s an absolute deal killer for me. I thought my old G-Wagon cup holders suck but BMW upped the ante and designed the ix ones to be the worst ever.
