Ordered a P85D, now thinking about losing my deposit and getting a CPO instead.

I see buying new expensive items as a way to redistribute wealth, and is same with luxury cars. At some point of time that item will be sold and somebody will have a chance to buy it at discounted price. If you have enough disposable income and that is your dream item, why not? I guess I am...

Will Model 3 truly be 'mass market'?

This is very interesting discussion assuming that there will be unlimited demand for Tesla cars. I am not sure, but it appears that waiting time from ordering to delivery shorten recently indicating number of people ordering cars somehow leveled off. There are so many factors affecting demand of...

    Pricing change rant

I guess you noticed that Tesla already corrected OP problem to his satisfaction. I did deposit, ordering thing once, and will not do it anymore. Pricing change rant

I have no horse in this race, but my problem is: the transaction did not happened yet, it is just initial agreement. Tesla did not deliver car yet, because is not ready. Let say, price for item is a reflection of cost, if that the case, than cars set for production will cost less and should be...

    Pricing change rant

Buying luxury and sophisticated item you never win, there always will be better and nicer item tomorrow. Buying MS that cost $100K, $4K is not that much, comparing to buying Impala @ $27K. I think if you can afford go for the best, because in 3 years you car will lose about 50% of its initial price.

    Model S for commuters?

So far MS is very reliable car, but after warranty repair can be a concern. Most of the cars on the road are covered by manufacturer warranty, so no issue there. It is a luxury car, therefore one may, and should expect that after warranty expire repairs can be expensive. I believe the main...
