Switzerland Sig #217 (VIN 14285) has been delivered today :biggrin: With TwinChargers and with Voice Commands (the DS was very surprised. Obviously there was an update last night!).

I agree very much. I had the same experience. I was called almost daily as long as i didn't sign the contract. I even mentioned once to the Tesla representative to stop using telephone terror methods (that's how we call this in swiss german). After I signed, there was no active communication...

Indeed! I talked to the Zurich Store again and now they stepped back and declared that my car is currently in production and will be shipped end of July. I should expect delivery early September! But she said, a few cars (3..5) have left Fremont with destination Europe already. Two days ago...

Happened to me also. Today. After clicking on 'confirm', it says that the car will be manufactured soon. However, Tesla confirmed before that my car is in transfer to Europe right now... What a mess!!!

It shows '... order has been confirmed'. I think they don't change that status until delivery.

:redface: I just talked to the Tesla office in Zurich. They seem to have more accurate information now! My car (Sig P85+ #217, VIN 14285) is produced already and is IN TRANSIT !! It is unknown though if it is still on the train to the eastcoast or already on the ship. They expect about 40 days...

That's strange. End of June a Swiss Tesla representative assured me that they passed all the required tests for immatriculation (is this the right word?) and that there were no issues left. I don't think there is a difference between EU and Switzerland, because we adapted pretty much to all EU...

If that's true, I would not expect any car being delivered to customers before mid August or even end of August (considering all the time consuming tasks between building and delivering the cars, like transportation to the east coast, loading a ship, shipment to Europe, customs paperwork...

Anybody got some news about the start of production of European cars? The 2nd quarter is history now, so I would assume that TM is concentrating now on European deliveries.

According to the Swiss Store in Zurich, there should be an email with information about charging being sent to customers 'soon'. I don't know anything about connectors, but they said it will have a 'Type 2' connector for 380/400V / 16A (10 hrs for a full charge). With a converting connector and...

Funny though that Swiss #217 Sig P+ (my car) got a lower VIN than Swiss #4 ...

I got the same information by going to the store, without escalation ;) (see earlier post) At least I am becoming a little more confident that delivery will happen before end of August...

Since yesterday or so, the Tesla Shop in Zurich has more cars in the showroom. I didn't really see them well because I was in my car driving by, but they had a grey one for test drives before, now there is a dark one (blue?) and a red one (signature red?). At least the red one had Zurich number...

I have a VIN since yesterday. The Tesla App is not connecting to the car yet.
