Ross Gerber, Gali and Meet Kevin did a post Earnings Call "party" video where they basically say the same thing. Elon is on another planet when it comes to some of these concepts, like Robo Taxis, that investors can't even grasp what it means for Tesla. BTW, this is actually pretty...

At least the mics were improved. This was probably the first time I could hear every word. Then again, maybe that was the problem with this one. :)

I can't help but think that your constant references to your cat is code but I wouldn't want to go there in this forum. Or maybe I would if it would help my case for the inheritance. 😼

I know I'm much more attentive when using FSD. It's not good enough to trust it yet. It's kind of like watching a toddler take its first steps. You hover expecting something is about to go wrong. But I have to say I usually have no interventions during one half of my trip (leaving or...

There will be no $25k car because by the time it comes out they will either be part of Tesla's own Robo Taxi fleet or due to the earnings they can generate it would drive the price up 5 times $25k for anyone that would want to buy one. That's why Elon said they do not understand what FSD would...

Sure, this isn't the best setup for this type of implementation. But they might be testing this way as a low volume test of the eventual urban tunnels. In those cases they would want to support low occupant vehicles. Plus, they don't have a tram vehicle yet anyway.

But if your advisor is any good then they should have been recommending leaning heavy into TSLA, no? Anyone can suggest you diversify to spread risk but when there's a smoking rocket on the launch pad is that the right advice?

My Model Y was a home delivery. No extra charge. You had to be outside a certain distance from a delivery site though. For me it would have been a 6 1/2 hour drive, one way.

Pretty disappointing in that there's really nothing new. Plus the BB guys reminded me of the Chris Farley character interviewing Paul McCartney. "Remember when you slammed Elizabeth Warren on Twitter? Yeah, that was great."

I assumed they completed it last weekend since I got it that Saturday and I seem to get mine late in the rollout. On my limited trials I didn't notice much difference from 10.5 other than reduced phantom braking.

You have to remember that inflation is measured against last year when we fell into a recession due to the pandemic. Inflation measured over a two year period would not look anywhere near as bad.

Not sure if this is a change or not but it appears that the front and rear SS door panels are the same so only one door type to bend for all four doors. But they do have different windows and likely other internal differences.

Because the whole point of borrowing against your stock holdings is to avoid selling it which would likely be a taxable event. Mortgages on your home enable you to have somewhere to live. It's not an obvious act to avoid a sale that would be taxable.

That's a good point. If you're using collateral to take value out of your holdings it should be treated as income. You are no longer just holding it. You are essentially using it as income to live off of. It would still make the tax percentage paid look miniscule but it would at least close...

I'm considering starting an aftermarket company to produce trading cards that can be placed in the spokes at random locations to achieve that nostalgic sound. Some range will be lost but I think H-D buyers will consider it worthwhile.

Most likely he doesn't want to increase drag just for a wiper blade. The hood/bonnet transition to the windshield is currently flat so no resistance is created. When you open up a horizontal gap to hide the wiper you create drag. Likely at least as bad as what a mirror adds. The current...
