Refreshed Model S/X owners seem to manage? I drove one, seems fine for both of these. Although I realized I must rest my hand at the top of the wheel because it took some adjustment to the yoke. But the yoke definitely seems better for highway driving.

I believe it's the same. Haven't had a red car since my '94 Chevy S10 ha. Tesla's color choices really leave a lot to be desired. My '20 Model 3 Performance was blue, and my previous cars were white, black, silver. So, red it was!!

Picked up earlier today. Everything looks good with QC on the car. It drives so much better than my 2020 Model 3 Performance. Tighter, yet not at all brittle-feeling over bumps. Very quiet too, love the double-paned glass and faster MCU3.

Although I can't help with the payment details (I did financing), they absolutely can ask for the $7500 via additional payment if they can't get the car to you by Dec 31st. And given they don't have a date before then scheduled in the app, it's highly likely they can't deliver it to you in time...

Not being a downer, but it seems very unlikely at this point. A lot would still have to get done in the next 3 days, even after you get a VIN. They still need to arrange for payment, confirm insurance, title and registration information. Tesla moves fast, but not that fast.

@RoBoRaT Good news, successful removal! I did the steps for the fascia removal (except for disconnecting the PWS), and pried the fascia away, leaving just enough gap to see and remove the HL. FYI - that weird bolt can be removed via a 11/32 socket, super simple. I was able to reassemble...

Proof point of one - when I was at Carmax today getting the quote reflected above, their lot was at >100% capacity. Totally full. They even told me not to expect a good quote for my Model 3, because they no longer sell the 3, X, S at retail any longer. Only the Y.
