If you know the answer, why are you asking the question? Tesla’s get broken into frequently and are very costly to repair if they are in an accident. It’s not a conspiracy. Insurance carriers need to mitigate their risk.

The answer to all these questions is because it is not profitable to perform these types of upgrades and divert resources from building new vehicles. That’s it.

Take it someplace other than Tesla to have the issue diagnosed. In my experience, they could not be bothered with anything that doesn’t throw a code or is not visually obvious.
