So if IO fully charged the car by at say 02:00 and its schedule ends at that time, will the car take power after 02:00 if for whatever reason it wants it. I thought IO stops the car receiving power outside of its schedules.

My aim is to let IO charge the car outside of the 23:30-05:30 period. But also to allow the car take power from the grid in the 23:30-05:30 should it want to, for example, if it’s fully charged at 02:00, want it to precondition for 05:30 depart using the power from the grid rather than the battery.

Thank you. Would best practice be to set off peak charging in the car for 23:30-05:30. Then IO will override charging outside of them hours? Could you kindly share how you set it, as looking at teslas scheduling, it’s not simple and clunky. There is nowhere to set start and end time.

You would be one of very very few in the UK in that position. I wouldn’t put it past a blanket discount, a small few people will have extreme low rates, but it will be easier managed.

Point 15 has been updated. It is looking like ‘all’ fixed tariffs will get the discount which suggests all go, go faster and IO will be reduced to below the price cap. That’s astonishing.

To add to this news, if true, Go's peak rate maybe even less than 28p, we maybe looking at 25p when the reductions come in. Its not 30% reduction, its the same rate per pound reduction.

You’re correct, Q2 MYs had PPF on the rear door around the front of the wheel arch as you said above. I collected a MY with a friend in June from Staines and it was there.

It’s more the wife. She won’t remember nor want to press that button all the time. Plus with a PW on the way, working out the best way to go about it to prevent the IO draining the battery into the car.

If the phantom drain is fixed, I will be happy to switch to IO.

I moved over and I dont have mine yet. Just say you have it on order. If you're just signing up, they will put you on their flexi. After being on that a few days give them a call and say you have an EV due and you want to switch over. You might end up with someone who will just do it.
