This is one of the reasons I'll be using Wifi hotspot on Vodafone 5G instead of Tesla LTE when my trial ends. It restricts some radio stations that are UK only too over TuneIn because the IP address is on the continent. Is there a practical reason why they didn't use a UK carrier?

Thanks for this Roy, its awesome. I installed on a NAS rather than a PI but works just as well. I also imported TeslaFi CSVs and it worked perfectly.

I wish you could set it to follow the most efficient route rather than the fastest. Brighton to West London is more efficient through the suburbs in SW London not via the M25 at 70mph. It saves about 10% but the in car nav never routes it that way. It only 10 minutes slower at most, so why not...

You can do it without the app via Siri shortcuts and cars API. I have a shortcut “Prepare to Charge” opens the frunk to get my type 2 cable and opens the charge port. Can activate via my watch or phone.

I use TeslaFi. Make sure you set your sleep settings, I also have mine set to deep sleep at certain locations.

Call me paranoid but I feel more secure using Keycard only along with pin to drive. Any kind of easy entry seems open to attack albeit Bluetooth being more secure than traditional key fobs.
