Yes, never swapped out the new smaller ones. I noticed that it closed just fine with the stock spring stoppers in place.

Yeah you got the right stuff. All three wires on the left need to be the ones that go from the trunk up the rubber tubing and into the trunk lid area.

How the heck do you get the little colored plastic plugs off the trunk trim piece? I pulled that part off (inside piece of the trunk itself) and it seems like 60% of the colored clips broke. On a lot of install videos it shows them with replacement parts - I didn't get any of those though...

Did you try a reset of the TPMS from your car menu? I've noticed the TPMS are pretty flakey overall though, I get warning on one tire that is set to the same PSI as the other 3 all the time. I had a TPMS warning pop up and all four tires showed 43 psi - well above where I usually get a warning.

Yup, that looks pretty cheap to me. More purple than black, and looks pasted on not a factory finish. On a car this nice it would be MUCH more beneficial to paint which absolutely doesn't look cheap. Your car is painted and looks to have a pretty even coat.... wonder how they did that. Nah...
