Definitely on 2024.2.2.1 on hw3 Y. It’s updating to 2.6 now so we’ll see if that fixes it. Right now Apple Music starts maybe half the time. The y has gotten two 2024 updates and the X is still on the 2023 update which has been good with music

So many people complain about the doors but they don't frustrate me. It seems like the motors help you move them if you give them 1 second before trying to open them. The only time it was annoying was when it was raining buckets and I was trying to get in the car ASAP

I have a MYP and the MXP motors are louder at lower speed than the Y. There's that annoying vibration in the first minute or two that doesn't exist on the Y as well.

CR90 isn't worth doing. CR70 rejects way more heat. The numbers on paper don't show it but to me it's a huge difference. I was going to go with 70 on the X but the tint shop recommended 60 for the front windshield due to how large it is and how we don't have normal sunshades. It definitely is...

Your x sounds like my Y with wind noise I can’t fix. They replaced the windshield and door seals, no improvement. I added the rpm Tesla wind noise kit, minor improvement. It’s now a small deal for me and I gave up. I only criticize because my 22 had the wind noise my 21 didn’t

My second Y has always been loud. I gave up after 3 visits to the service center. I agree the Y does handle better/feel nimbler.

🤣 I still drive the MY to work. The X does make it feel cheap though. I usually don’t care about luxurious features but the X is definitely more roomy, comfortable, and quiet and much faster than my MYP.

I agree with this completely. I've mentioned it in the past, my crooked 2021 model Y was much quieter inside than my straight, perfect gap, 2022 model Y. The MX trunk is slightly higher on one side and since I don't have any booming or wind noise, I'm not going to worry about it either.

The default is no dome lights or ambient (footwell) lights. Check your settings :)

They don't issue new policies in California any longer. However, if you're already a customer you can change vehicles with them. Their rate was half of Farmer's and about 20% less than Geico. MXP and MYP difference was about 100$ every 6 months. 550 vs 650

Put a ceramic spray sealer on just now while looking over the paint. No issues to report I haven’t driven the x on the highway since driving it home. Will have a 45 min drive this weekend. FSD didn’t seem more nagging than autopilot in my MY though

I took delivery of a MX yesterday evening. During the 20 min drive home the cameras calibrated. The 3 month FSD trial starts when you take delivery. I was able to enable FSD this morning and it works surprisingly well in normal well marked driving situations. HW4 came on the S/X around March...

Picked ours up yesterday evening after a two day reschedule. Besides the mcu rebooting while starting up the car in parking lot, no issues to report
