It's just the aero cover. I would fix it as it's a simple job but I wouldn't say it's 100% necessary. You can certainly drive it but I would recommend keeping a watch on it to see if airflow causes any damage to grow. Maybe push and pull it around and see if that's likely or not. If it does...
It doesn’t seem any more complex than ideal consumption divided by measured consumption.
For example, if it sees 325whr/mi for a trip and ideal is 245whr/mi then 245/315 gives you 78% efficiency.
What does the climate screen show. You can indeed "split" and "combine" the air with a pinch-and-zoom type finger pinch and spread motion. You can see the split airflow in the animation as shown in the user manual...
Adapters are never a good. Even if the corded MC could support 120V, there would be no way for it to know what amperage to limit (15A breaker? 20A?). Bad idea.
Why not purchase the UMC that allows multiple pigtails? You won’t miss the extra 8A. Further, supposedly it will eventually be...
Sure this is well know, but I've been using the ring key for over 2 years, leaving my phone in the car for a run or ocean swim with no issues. I'd love for Tesla to support IOS carkey capability, but I'm not holding my breath.
There are some features that aren't supported due to older versions of the MCU or AP computers, but otherwise they are still going strong. AFAIK, the 2020s and 2021s have the same MCU and AP computers as the refresh.
Look at your energy graph. There is a line for reference consumption (EPA) and then one for your actual consumption over the past 5/15/30 miles. Personally, I think the EPA line is quite optimistic. If you are within 10% of that line, you are doing good.
If you want longer term data (over 30...
Good luck. I'm lowered on bright blue HR springs *and* have bolt on spacers so it's completely obvious I have aftermarket suspension modifications. I brought it into the Sarasota SC for something completely different and they actually added doing the control arm service without me even asking...
3% is way too close for comfort. Imagine if the stalls were filled, an accident caused delays, or a big headwind was not taken into account. I went down to 3% once…the car drove so slow and differently I’m keen never to repeat. Good call.
Holy cow. Those tires are unusable IMHO. I would call them right away. If you can't get ahold of them, see if the service visit is still open and attach them there for documentation. Definitely go back and be polite. I can't see how this would have been missed.
You don't say what phone you are using, but I'm on an iphone 12 mini, possibly the smallest out there, and I find there is more than enough room. The stop charging button is separated by an admittedly thin black line but the distance, on my mini, is just a hair shy of 1/2" from the middle of...
Good job. Better form might be to first check with the "vehicle_state" command. If it returns asleep, first wake it, then send the commands.
Though, for your use case, I would run the rain check *first* and only then do the queries/commands if rain is detected. The Tesla API is not public...
Very interesting. I'd say it uncommon for individual residential units.
What does your panel look like? If you panel has two busses like is common, and if you measure the voltage from bus to bus, does it show the same 120 degree shift?

Not a recommendation as I haven’t tried it myself but MPP is a respected company.
This mounts in the front…is that where the damage happened? I could see needing one of these in the back too, especially if an object is...
That is certainly an old sleazy tactic. However, one good thing with Tesla though is the pre-service invoice they ask you to sign. It details everything they are going to do. In your case it sounds like they didn’t have the cabin filters on the invoice at all? Usually they quote line for...
What do you mean by "just". When I let mine expired, I got into the car one morning and couldn't stream (obviously). I opened up my app and re-subscribed. Easy. However, it took my entire drive (about 40 minutes), then a sleep period while I was at my meeting (another 90 minutes) before it...
KBB/NADA means very little in the current environment. Tesla is generally below what Carvana/Carmax/Vroom/etc offers. I say generally as you’ll find examples above and below but I think you’ll find it below in most cases. If you live in a state that doesn’t deduct trade in from the sales...
In short, there is not a fuse box but there are plenty of places to get 12V. Check out this thread:
https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/dashcam-install-help.104575/
The f/trunk and locks are bluetooth driven but other things are API driven which means over the mobile network (at least I *believe* this to be the case). Is it possible your vehicle was in a place without mobile network accessibility? That would mean the bluetooth things work but the mobile...
No speed camera warning on the dashcam and/or display navigation. I think youre best bet would be to just transfer your existing dash cam to the Tesla and continue to use it as you do today. Yes, it will be redundant but there are instances on this list where the Tesla cam either failed to...
I really wouldn't think so if the amount of time was low and you were moving the entire time. If you were slow enough, or in the water long enough, for it to come through the door sills, perhaps, but keep a close eye on everything. It's all sealed pretty sell under there and that includes the...
The 310 claimed in 2019 was with the 18 wheels. Heck the new 22 only has a epa range of 315 and it has a bigger battery than the 19. I believe the rated range with the 20s was 290. The BMS, which reports range, is notoriously inaccurate when measured in the single digit to low double of miles...
Not in the least. Three years on HR springs. I have had some phantom braking but nothing terrible.
Was the guy complaining about phantom braking, following distances screwed up, or lane keep issues?
I don't think I've ever heard an ad that wasn't an obvious sponsor of the podcast I was listening to and I've been listening for several years. Mostly NPR Up First, News Now, Clark Howard, and Conf T. I can't remember the last time I heard an ad. I am *not* logged in, using the generic Tesla...
You just need to "associate" the key to the profile. See here:
https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/model3/en_us/GUID-A2D0403E-3DAC-4695-A4E6-DC875F4DEDC3.html
the section "Linking a Driver Profile to a Key"
It still exists, at least for Spotify. The stupid design UI decision they made is you have to place your finger "over" the scrub bar, where the minutes:seconds eventually shows up. I was pressing the actual progress bar and getting hit or miss. Luckily, I found out if you press where those...
If you can't see it in anything but your garage, I'd say let it go. I can see the SC guy/gal coming out now in the sunlight to inspect the vehicle..."totally within spec". Even if they agree under good will or something, maybe they can get it out with some buffing, but no way would I have a...
Teslamate (and others) just report what the BMS is giving them. Since you only used 0.2 kwh and 0.7 on the two trips, that is a VERY VERY low number where even a tenth will make a large difference. I don't know what the precision of the data the BMS provides over the API, but you can bet it's...
$270 for 400 kWh is $0.675/kWh! Is electricity really that expensive in CA? And 900 miles for a 20mpg car is 45 gallons used. Even at $5/gal, this is less expensive than electric.
Second what @jjrandorin said, look for what the cost is per kWh and try to optimize that. It sounds like...
Sounds like going back to the free food sample location in the grocery store multiple times. My thoughts are test drives cost a company money. Money in wear and tear, money in SA time, money in charging, and most importantly money in risk and liability. What if you get into a deadly wreck...
To add to @Lloyd be sure to get to get the mobile connector pigtail for the 14-50 if you haven’t already.

My experience is auto hold needs to be engaged for the auto-park to function.
In his attached video, he is going up a hill and slows just slowly enough to hit zero but not engage auto hold. Seems like a very hard to replicate in a real world scenario but one that could happen none the less...
Is your screen grab at 1108 in the morning or at night? I'll assume morning based on your posting time. 50 degree interior temperature at 1108 on a sunny morning with an outside 20 degrees or even lower is expected. Now, if it's 50 degrees at 5am in the morning when outside is 20, that's a...
If you like your current poke today, use a wheel offset calculator. Put in your current wheel dimensions (with current spacers) and your new one and verify they will be the same (or if you want more or less poke make appropriate adjustments):

I just had my tires replaced by Tesla, the 20" Michelin PS4S on a M3P. The funny thing is it was the cheapest place around. Tesla wanted $350 per tire plus $5 disposal fee per tire and that was it. No installation. total with tax $1548. That's about $2k CAD. Even online, the PS4S is...
Just ask. They are very willing to give vouchers. I received $100 for a single day. Vouchers are time restricted and only good for the short period around the time your car is in the shop so don't think they are just giving you free rides.
