Can you make an argument that because of 3 battery failures it may because of another reason? Tesla may not want to investigate but could you get an independent person to check the vehicle to see if it has any other flaws effect lead to battery failure?

It has made sense for a while, the problem is we don’t have a timescale.

This is the big issue, some unlucky folk are going to buy a vehicle out of warranty and the next day the battery goes. As a result I expect the older, higher mileage vehicles price to continue to fall and buyers will become savy enough to to ask about how the vehicle was charged.
