Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

This is interesting, bodes well for demand going forward. “Our trade-in data suggests that consumers are significantly changing their purchasing habits in order to buy a Model 3. Of all trade-ins we’ve ever received from customers buying a Model 3, only 17% are other mid-sized premium sedans...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

They have also explained why they expect a small profit in Q1 ( number of vehicles in transit) so no real worries on that front. However I would have liked to see more details about the semi roll out.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

The Deal or No Deal game show is very annoying to me.

Watch the original UK version of the show. Whilst it also drags, they don’t have loads of family on and don’t go into people life history as much.

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

The Bloomberg article claims Tesla has 11,000 orders for the solar roof, This is the first time I have heard any indication of the demand for the roof, if true this is amazing. I hope they can ramp up the production to meet this demand.

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Dyson business model is to design/ test in the UK and manufacture abroad. The fact that the factory will be built in Singapore (which is more expensive and land is at a premium) shows they realise they need high level engineer talent. More importantly we have a timeline and concrete steps taken...

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Dyson to build electric car in Singapore I think Dyson is underestimated when it comes to its potential for EVs, target date is for first vehicles to be produced in 2021.

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Surely you know that not all of the reservations are in North America and a significant percentage of people want versions which are not yet available and priority was given to certain customers. The issue I have is that many shorts seem to engage in wishful thinking rather than accept facts.

    Tesla depreciation

How much do you guys think a base model 3 will be worth after 8 years /over 100k mileage ? Also how many years will it take for a base 3 to be worth $10k?

Based upon Elon’s statements (dangerous assumptions), will the upcoming standard battery be 35k ?

Recent tweet re design of the roadster: Production design will be better, especially in details. We are dying to do this, but primary focus must remain on making affordable version of Model 3 & bringing Y to market

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

If he is joking surely he would get into trouble with the SEC? As this could be considered short term manipulation ? If he has discussed going private, I am assuming the institutional holders and SWFs will provide the finance.

Blog Tesla’s Pricier Model 3 Already Converting Owners of Mass Market Cars

Lasairfion, That its a great post explaining the situation in the UK and parts of Europe as well. I have been thinking about this also and would add the following: For people living in terraced housing many charges would be needed in the city, where people go regularly. At supermarkets...
