You’re a bit confused…Tesla has not “always” been installing performance motors in LR. And the so called “stealth” was still sold as a performance MY and only for a very short period of time.

Not sure I follow what you’re saying here…you believe the MYAWD is coming with 4D1’s or that MY’s with 4D1 motor also has 4680’s? If the later then I seriously doubt that.

My MYP has a 11/2022 build with 4D1 so that throws off that theory.

Yeah I’m aware of the controls for the rear climate from the front seat on the main screen, but I was talking about controls for the rear seat passengers to use for their seating position. I looked at the S3XY buttons and the add on touch screens for the rear seat but I don’t want to muss around...

Still running stock setup although I did buy a set of takeoffs so I can do the square setup when the need be. From my research and verifying it through members of this forum either the 275/35 or the 265/40 will work just fine in a square setup on Uber 9.5”. IMO the 265/40 looks a tad better...

Not sure is hairpin windings would be cheaper especially in their first gen of such a motor. Always a possibility!

The first post has some good instructions and there’s great tips to get a pic throughout this thread. Helped me identify mine. If you have a 2023 MYP it likely has the 4D1 rear motor from my understandin, but it’s easy to confirm by following the instructions.

Now the question I have is what would be the best square setup for the MYP, 275/35 or 265/40? Anyone out there done this and maybe have some pics? I have two sets of Ubers so I can do 9.5” wide or 10.5” all around, but I plan to use the narrower set unless I see otherwise is better.

It’s a no-brainer if you plan to upgrade the wheels and buy the boost…there’s your $4000 right there!

This is the best I can do without removing the wheel. No surprised I couldn’t read the top line at distance with the winter road grime on it, but looks like “GTX22323” so as you surmise it’s GigaTexas? This is getting interesting!

My compliments on the acrobatics to get that good of a pic…I can’t seem to get one in focus, got any pointers? I can clearly see the 4D1 at the bottom but can‘t make out the top line. I may have to remove the wheel which I won’t be able to do til a bit later in the day.
