I retaped my prefilter to make it look better. I also did the same to 2020 model 3 along with the frunk seal and replaced the cabin filters to see if the smell is gone permanently. I will update if it comes back or it starts in the 2023 mode s

It’s personal. I took delivery with slight trunk misalignment. Not sure I would have noticed if it wasn’t for this forum. I love the car and it doesn’t bother me. The after pic looks pretty good to me.

I specifically asked my advisor when I picked up the car if I got the 3 month trial of FSD and he said no but it was in the car. You can check under the software tab.

How long have you had the updated part? I have a 2020 model 3 with same problem and design. The smell would go away or many months 4-8 months when I changed the filters but would then return. I think it takes some time for the mold to grow maybe.

I don’t think the updated part is going to fix the problem. A lot of water enters under the hood and will likely make it to the filters. Other potential solutions are outlined in this thread.

New owner question. I can’t get the Sirius xm to work. I refreshed the subscription and scroll wheel reset and it worked but then stopped again. Refresh and reset didn’t work the second time. Any help?

Do you know if any water collects on top of the sock since it’s not completely tight and flat? I was wondering if just taping the prefilter flat on top of the air intakes might be better as the water will just run straight down. I wonder if it collected on top of the sock if it would...

So I parked under a tree and birds probably took 100 poops on my week old car. I had to take a hose to it pretty hard and I checked the seal and make shift sock and all were dry. There was water to the very sides of the frunk but not any near the air intake.

2020 model 3 not 2023

Question. I’ve never had a car with staggered wheels. I contacted Tesla through Tesla app and they said no rotations whatsoever but said tires may wear out early. What is everyone planning on doing ? Just alignment? Service said no side to side either

Finally had some rain and tested the frunk seals on both the s and 3. Seemed to work with water missing the air intake but running down the sides of the frunk. The makeshift sock I made on the s was completely dry and just dusty so I guess that will help keep the hepa filter cleaner too.

I have that turned off and still don’t see anything on the bar showing limited regen.

I asked this in different forum but no one answered. My 2020 model 3 showed the limited regen braking in the status bar when it was cold outside. I can’t figure out how to see this in the new S. Any thoughts? I know that green bar is there behind the wheel.

I think they can do some adjusting but if it doesn’t bother you it’s probably not that noticeable. I think I only noticed mine because I’m on this forum.

Not sure if this is the same noise. But my noise was heard from outside the vehicle and sounded like it was coming from one side near the frunk. I didn’t go in the car to hear it though so maybe.

I installed the OEM's on the front. they are there and are very low to the ground. worried they will fall off but I have the front's from the baseonor set from amazon since I just used those for the back.
