A Model 3 owner posted this same thing on /r/teslamotors and while it's explicit in the M3 manual that the car must be periodically connected to WiFi to get the latest maps, it sounds like you are... but perhaps your car isn't connecting properly? Or perhaps it just needs another day or two to...

FWIW, my FIAT does 3 blinks with a "quick press" of the turn signal stalk and all the recent German cars I've ever driven are the same. I also find 3 blinks as not really long enough to be "fair" to signal to other drivers, but seems to be an accepted standard.

My used FIAT 500e came with only 1 ("laser cut" / switchblade style) key. I was quoted $400 to cut a (1) new key and reprogram it. I was able to talk my local dealer into a lower price, they offered to do it for $225.
