    Knocking sound from power liftgate

I realize this is an old thread but it fits my question. My lifgate just started making this exact noise. So since this is from last year did you have to have the strut replaced again? I'm wondering if I just live with it or is this an indication of imminent failure? Out of warranty so this will...

    Supercharger - Erie, PA

I apologize upfront for bumping this thread as I know others are watching for some real information about ANY activity at the Erie site. That said does anyone know if there is some way to get information about planning, zoning or town board meetings that might be processing the Peach Street site?

Thank you for doing Tesla's job for them. If memory serves one has to drive past the new chargers even if you are coming from the south. Of course I suffer from CRS syndrome so maybe not.

xray and mrElbe, thank you sharing your experiences. I'll also be traveling Rochester to Pittsburgh this spring so that information is useful as well.

How cold? Below Zero C? How fast did you drive? I have tried similar trips at - 2 C (28F) and been forced to L2 charge to make it even driving 55. Snow and wind can also be contributing negative factors.

    Supercharger - Erie, PA

Notice I said ease the travel as opposed to make the trip possible. The difference Erie will make in warm weather ( the trip is very questionable in cold weather with only supercharging ) is the difference between range charging in Clarence or just topping up to 150 rated miles. Thats the...

    So this happened yesterday...

We have conciously taken the car on trips where we used to fly. Besides being cheaper it is a much more enjoyable trip and we don't have to worry about what to pack. In fact I think my wife would take the kitchen sink if I let her :-). Lots of space to transport gear. I also think the charging...

Ok, so at best it can be used as a relative ( to other packs ) "health"

Using TM-Spy to see Model S data.

Gary, I'm sorry if I missed it in a previous post but does that Pack value come from the system or is it calculated? If it comes from the system what is the speculation of how it is determined. I assume it is an indicator of full capacity, correct?

Tesla is going to do it to me again. Last year I was hoping to drive from Rochester,NY to Columbus,OH in my 85S with a friend at the end of May for a yearly trip. I thought I had it locked when they announced it would be done before end of 2014. When they took a month to get hooked to the...

That theory makes a lot of sense. Good catch to notice the stubbed conduit in the distribution panel.

Sorry to disagree but they are not. The transformer wires enter under the grey distribution panels. I am talking about 6 large grey currently capped conduit right at edge of the supercharger/distribution panel pad. There is a really good picture of them in one of delanman's photos.

Delanman, Thank you for an excellent and complete set of pictures. They provide a really good understanding of the project status.

    Supercharger - Newark, DE

Anyone have any speculation as to what the six conduits sticking out of the supercharger pad are for? Future expansion?
  29. jrreno

    Supercharger - Newark, DE

The trench must have been just for the high voltage supply line. Look at the last set of pics ( post # 481) submitted. That empty pad with the conduit sticking up is for a transformer.

AIMc and ProtoMM, Thanks for adding to the picture archive! It really is satisfying to be able to see actual progress of the site. Using TM-Spy to see Model S data.

Thank you, I was able to remove the "hockey stick" trim and then the top trim piece normally under the cubby which allowed easy install of the cubby. Every thing went back together with ease.

    Firmware 7.1 - For Classic Model S

In Florida I have my HVAC set to 70 or at least I have in the past. When heading out in the early morning with the temp around 53F I'm feeling cool air blow on my face. If I want heat I have to up the control to about 80. Of course your efficiency is up, you're not running the heater at all!

    Firmware 7.1 - For Classic Model S

That decribes my experience. I would add that the NAV is pretty much useless given the inability to set waypoints and its insistence on picking the most idiotic route to most of my destinations.
