When I disconnect auto pilot, it goes to full manual driving when before it would keep the speed but let me steer. How do I get it to keep the speed and let me steer in times such as rain when it wants to slow me down so I don’t have to keep my foot on the accelerator.

This latest version has been great to me so far until today where it was a ton of random slowdowns and phantom breaking like it was a scared 16-year-old learning to drive. Maybe they are randomly testing the neural network on it or something I don’t know.

The latest version is actually working really well for me. There is one really bad regression though on a double left turn off of a freeway onto a normal road if there is a car in the left turn lane as I am making the left in the left lane, if it sees a car there, it will swerve into the right...

I just realized that on the latest FSD version I have not had any dry wipes with the wipers

So the latest FSD beta 11.4.8.1 did NOT see 2 deer standing right in front of me on the road. Had to brake quickly but all is okay.

I thought the same thing however, in these threads people were talking about Tesla possibly testing the neural net portion of FSD on version 11

I think I’m noticing a difference when they are supposedly testing the current software on version 12s neural net. I’ve noticed a few times that the car would actually creep from a stop at 1 mph versus waiting till zero but sometimes it will wait till zero.

Just out of sheer curiosity, since it’s supposed to snow for the first time tomorrow, does anybody know if the antilock brakes actually work or those beta too?

After the latest update when I go to the software screen, it does not look for updates anymore. It just tells me the last date it updated. Is that normal

Anyone else having problems with the app not connecting to the car when it’s sleeping and you have to walk over and unlock the door and then the app will connect to the car?

Why are the wipers going when it is cloudy and overcast with no rain at all and I’m getting the full self driving may be worse due to weather message and you can’t turn off the wipers to boot. Awful

I absolutely hate how hesitant it is making left Turns, the last car passes through the intersection and it just sits there. If the next version isn’t better, I’m trading it in and getting something else.

The map routing in this version is so much worse. It had me drive, or wanted me to drive 10 miles out of the way just to stay on the freeway

The latest version is actually doing pretty well for me with the exception of during rain. It limited my speed to the actual speed limit and had problems going around Amish buggies.

I don’t understand why it still throws you into the exit lane and then overcompensates when swerving back to be in the lane you look drunk, exiting the freeway

I got to say 11.4.2 is awesome. I went to four appointments today with maybe one intervention or I disconnected the auto pilot to change route. A couple of Accelerator pushes, but it even handled the roundabout very well. This version is the best version I’ve experienced so far. Much farther...

At first when I got 11.4.2 it was very bad but after driving it for about a week or so it improved and my interventions have been much less mostly accelerator pedal pushes, but my disengagement have gone way down. I was really pissed at first but now it’s starting to get better. Not sure why...

It’s morphing and improving in the background. AI! Also, I have noticed the same thing things are rapidly improving for some reason. It still makes mistakes, but much less than when I first got the update.

how do I fix a wrong speed limit? There are several places where either on a street is wrong or in a roundabout it is 25 and doesn’t change the speed after exiting the roundabout

IM IMPRESSED! Just drove in a complete downpour and FSD didn’t even blink kept going on the freeway I couldn’t see anything outside and it never disengaged worked very well.
