I just had a pleasant chat with Jerry at the Cordes Junction RV park. They have regular NEMA 14-50 outlets and he is amenable to Tesla owners utilizing them. Tentative charge will be $10/hr. Be sure to bring your cable(s). Perhaps a Phoenix or Tucson area owner on their way up to Flagstaff...

There's a newish RV park in Cordes Junction, too. Walking distance to a McDonald's and other fast-food places to eat. If anyone tries it, post your experience here. I'm in Prescott, and it would make a huge difference doing Phoenix-Prescott in a 60. If I have the occasion to do it first...

Exactly why I bought a 60. I couldn't justify the additional 8k just for making a couple of long trips per year a little easier. Now if the 85 had added 100+ miles of range as opposed to 57.... And an SC in Indio would be terrific.

Of all these, Blythe is critical...for travel to the LA area.

Surprising as it may seem, though it took awhile the regular DMV office in Prescott handled my registration efficiently enough, had the AF plates, and I was able to pay for everything with a credit card. Pretty impressive considering it was the first one they'd handled. Ask for Richard.

I can live with going slower. I can't live with my car dying by the roadside. Blythe would be my first pick for something between Phoenix and the LA area...and I live in Prescott.
