I had 3 Teslas with auto wipers. None worked. They either did nothing or wiped at the rapid speed despite not raining. Absolutely the worst wipers I have ever had in any vehicle.

I've been running a fridge and dual burner induction stove without issue in my R1S. The stove is occasionally pulling 100-200w over the inverter's rated max.

I think you must be. Tesla has never had a 120v outlet in their vehicles until the Cybertruck.

Sounds like mine. Maybe yours will develop the additional feature of randomly opening while the car is parked along with the other doors.

LOL they don't even do that anymore. My X came with dirt everywhere. Outside, inside, oily smudges all over the screen, etc. My prior Teslas were delivered indoors immaculately detailed, and one even came with a giant red bow on top (a la Lexus). Things are nothing like they used to be.

This happened to my lemon 2023 MX. Seat was replaced. Happened again a few months later. Never tried to get it fixed again because the car had devolved in other ways that made driving it unsafe. It was lemoned after 9 months.

I don't think that applies to the 2023+ interior since the cubby was removed.

Doors opened on their own. Frunk opened on it's own while parked and while driving. Trunk opened and closed hundreds of times while parked. Speed was limited to 48 MPH. Water leaked through one falcon door onto the seat when it rained. Seat heaters did not work in the front seats. Yoke...

Mine knocked over my trash can multiple times doing the same thing. The door was dented due to this defect when my MX was finally lemoned.

Based on my experience, I don't think that option would work. My door hit my trash can once with my hand holding it because it does not want to stop the few times it decided to open all the way. Tesla would still have pissed off customers. Just get rid of the motors and make them normal doors again.

Mine was a Oct 2022 build. Same issue. Doors always opened ~6 inches and stopped thinking there was an object when there was not, and then it took 20 seconds of holding the override button inside the door to get it open. With two toddlers, this was quite a pain in the ass.

You also can't get 150w from Teslas 150w 12v outlets. The voltage sags a ton beyond 90w and devices will shut down due to the voltage drop. 10v at a 100w draw is what my Model S and Model X both put out.

How can the seal degrade that much in 4 months? That is insane. I would reject that in a heart beat. The MX is already known to have leak issues with the FWD seals failing after a few years.

I could not agree more. Took 6 months for Tesla service to admit it was by design and not a fault with my vehicle too.

Hey holeydonut, have you ever heard of Mercedes or any car maker BESIDES Tesla refusing to pay for the loaner (rental) car that they provided to a customer or is that just Tesla's clearly superior customer service that treats their customers that way?

I've seen some 3 phase fed public chargers go from 206 volts at no load down to 188 volts once the charger kicks on. Now THAT is a big drop. Just backing off a couple of amps would raise the voltage 5v.

Twice. That's by design on the 2023. They removed the sensors so they can't open on their own anymore.

That's exactly what I was thinking...as Tesla towed the beyond dead vehicle off my property a month ago. It was just such a "perfect" vehicle!

An inverter powerful enough to output 1500w would require being hardwired on and and also voids part of the warranty. It also would be powered by the small 12v battery with the HV pack kicking in to recharge it repeatedly adding tons of cycles to the 12v battery. The Rivian powers its inverter...
