Has anybody noticed a secondary non-Tesla fast charger at this new Hope location (eg. Flo charger)? Like in Cache Creek, Quesnel and Williams Lake?

It's really a matter of which Municipalities and/or Businesses that want to work with Tesla to install Superchargers on their land, than a real choice of where Tesla want to build these. If it was up to Tesla, I think they would have installed Superchargers in every town by now but not many...

According to Google, at this same location there's a Ricky's All Day Grill Restaurant and Convenience Store at the Esso Gas Station. Other than that, there's a huge Esso Truck Commercial Cardlock. It's a more convenient location for outgoing and incoming Highway 1 traffic, but now you bypass...

June 4, 2021 - FYI ... the North Vancouver Superchargers just went online from about 7 PM. 3 months seems to be the activation benchmark from construction to activation.

June 4, 2021 - Still No Meter and No Juice

I'm curious to know if Tesla installed a Flo charger in Quesnel too like in Williams Lake and Cache Creek!

Sadly there are two realities at play. There's "Tesla Time" where things move fast in a beautifully coordinated manner ... and then there's the rest of the world. Tesla doesn't mess around, they're able to build these Superchargers pretty much anywhere in the world within a week. But sadly...

Unfortunately it has been taking 3-4 months after construction completion for the inspectors/municipalities and BC Hydro to activate Tesla Superchargers. Expect Cache Creek, Williams Lake and Quesnel to take about the same amount of time. North Vancouver and Coquitlam have been done for months...

May 25, 2021 - Status Update ... No Meter and No Juice

Because Tesla is forced to install a non-Tesla fast charging station at these new Supercharger locations, they most certainly won't spend the extra $$ to give their competition a 100 kw fast charger. Also looking at all the non-Tesla fast charging infrastructure across BC, 90% are 50-60 kw...

Should be the usual 50 kw.

Activation of these chargers depends totally on local municipal inspectors giving the green light for BC Hydro to book in a time to test and then install a meter. So we've got two levels of bureaucracy to go through and no matter what you do, neither municipal permits/inspectors office nor BC...

May 17, 2021 - Checked in the evening, no meter - no juice yet.

It looks like the construction phase is complete, just a meter from BC Hydro is missing, but likely both an inspection is required before BC Hydro will have the green light to book in an install time. This seems to be the exact same problem at the North Vancouver Supercharger location as well...

May 12, 2021 - Tested and still no juice...

As of April 24, 2021 ... not on yet. But as expected, there were at least 5 fossil cars parked in the Tesla slots ... they would have had no idea that they were not working. This is going to be a big problem at this location!

As of April 3, 2021 @ 3:30 pm ... They're moving so fast.

They're moving quickly. Looks like the big transformers are in place and being worked on. Supercharger units are not get visible.

A little update thanks to The Village of Cache Creek. I found out this information today ... "The Village is working with Tesla to have Superchargers installed, though it is still in the preliminary stages. As of now they are going to be installed near the BC Hydro charger in the Community...

So you were able to Supercharge successfully at this new station now? Was it ramping up to full power or at least Supercharge speeds? The last person to check-in on PlugShare several days ago said he was getting slow speeds, only 34 kw.
