    Rear HVAC additional AC condenser

Did you get an answer to this? I read the entire thread but didn’t see a concrete answer. Does the 22 Model X 5-seater have dual AC for the rear? I am thinking about replacing my 21MX 5-seater which doesn’t have dual AC.

$1.30 is still such a small amount though, unless you guys are daytrading BPS/BCS and take profit when you have a small gain? From what I’ve reading on this forum, you guys usually close when you are 40-80% in the green so $1.30 is minuscule. If @Yoona has $180k in fees, she’s probably making...

Stock split forced naked short sellers How much fees are you paying? With Merrill Edge I am paying $0.65 per option (not $65, literally $0.65) trade, which is really peanuts in the grand scheme of things.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Great read, but I couldn't help but think that people in my life who don't have any money is because they have too much confidence. "I can afford this because I can always make more money in the future" type of mentality is pervasive among people in their 20's and 30's. This article is clearly...

Depends on how much naked shorts you think are out there. I think the last split caused such a big spike because market makers needed to close out a lot of naked shorted shares, but this time they've had ample time to take care of it since the announcement on March 28th. I personally don't think...

Your options will have a weird strike price and most likely lose liquidity as people don't like to trade those. If you are looking to exercise them then it doesn't matter, but if you are trading them these options might lose some value.

What other tech stock to consider?

My humble opinion is no LMND isn't really a worthwhile investment. I was an insurance agent for 10 years so I've sat through my share of sales, underwriting, and company performance meetings. I am guessing for most tech investors LMND's attraction is its claim of AI capability, but I think it's...

NOT advice - do NOT do what I do. I personally find it a lot more rewarding to just short the stock via CC. The market is in a down turn, we are heading into a recession, the Fed is conducting QT, JPow will speak publicly on a random weekday, some random central bank will probably collapse...

In the case of blown-up CC's, my recommendation is to not panic roll, especialy in this market. Yes, the stock right now is undervalued. Yes, we are oversold. However, the market sentiment is still very bearish. There are also a lot of people who are trapped between $750-$1,250. Many of them...

    TSLA Technical Analysis

I think it's just neutral that we came down from $680. If you are a trader, that's just a sensible spot to take profit if you bought the current bottom of $632 (a 7% profit, and much more if you traded options). It looks like we are just going to consolidate around $670 since it's conveniently...

Most of us here, if not all, believe the trajectory of the company will overcome the economic headwinds. Fundamentally, yes, it's easier to buy now because the company has proven itself and we know it won't go bankrupt. However, in 2020 and 2021 you knew the PE multiple had to expand due to the...

You bought while the Fed was backing the entire economy and handing you free fun coupons. A new buyer today has to buy knowing the Fed is now the market biggest enemy: Buying assets in 2020 and 2021 was a no brainer. Buying in 2022 and beyond until the Fed relaxes takes a lot of courage.

I think we are almost there. The weekly RSI for the QQQ is near March 2020 level. One more dump and the SPY will reach 100 week moving average. TSLA's 100 moving average is $638. Once we get down there a lot of short term traders will hopefully exit.

One strategy I've used when my CC's get blown up is to roll into a much higher strike price call way into the future in order to reduce delta then roll it back if the stock is cooling down. I've always thought to risk-reward for LEAPs are better when the IV is low. I don't have the data to back it up, but IIRC, a similar LEAP (let's say 25% OTM with 1 year of theta) was 3-5 times more expensive during the height of IV last Feb-March compared to the trough of IV during May-June.
