Supercharger - Kalispell, MT (under construction Apr 2024, 8 V4 stalls)

Nah, Blackstone definitely has done hundreds of supercharger sites across the US. They're Tesla's preferred installer for Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. While the possibility of "funny business" is not outside the realm of what's possible. I would think that weather would play a larger...

Supercharger - Liberty Lake, WA (LIVE Mar 2022, 12 V3 stalls)

I’ve spoken to the team at Liberty Lake and they’re not supposed to be in the nav. They just appear from time to time randomly unfortunately.
  3. I

    Supercharger - Missoula, MT - Highway 93 North (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

Idk about you but I’ve already charged here twice now!
  4. I

Supercharger - Liberty Lake, WA (LIVE Mar 2022, 12 V3 stalls)

They’re hidden in the back and technically for service only. But this site seems to have an issue with them being listed very frequently.

    Supercharger - Butte, MT - Grizzly Trl. (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

If I had a magic wand and could wish some superchargers into existence from my time in Montana. These would be the locations that could benefit from them the most. There are secondary highways that have yet to be filled across the state. Highway 200 between Missoula and Great Falls isn't...

    Supercharger - Butte, MT - Grizzly Trl. (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

There just isn't much else out there in terms of cities haha. There's a lot of distance between towns in Montana.
  7. I

Supercharger - Ellensburg, WA - Canyon Road

I'd like to think it's to re-configure V3 cabinets to dispense 1000V. They'd also have to swap handles but it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility.
  8. I

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S. Hosmer St. (LIVE 20 Apr 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

If someone towing pulled into any of those pull-in stalls they would create pandemonium at the charger... As someone who is moving in a few months and will be towing, this site looks promising yet terrifying. The new Tukwila site will be much more useful given it's dedicated pull-through lane...

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S Steele St. (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

I thought the same thing. I like to think Simon was the person at Tesla who signed off on the project and someone accidentally included his signature ;)

    Supercharger - Butte, MT - Grizzly Trl. (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

There was no tailwind. The air was actually terrifyingly calm. The car was preconditioning a TON due to the temps (LFP M3) and the projected arrival when I unplugged in Missoula at 100% SoC was -2% arrival to Butte. But I drove slower and the car overestimated it's needs for battery preconditioning.

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S. Hosmer St. (LIVE 20 Apr 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

From what I was visually able to gather this is the layout of this site. I do not remember the exit onto Hosmer St in front of the supercharger. But it was dark and fenced. It may be little less of a congestion point if this site keeps that exit.
  12. I

Supercharger - Seattle, WA - NW. 45th St. (Under Construction Oct 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

There is only one conduit to each dispenser. Hopefully they plan to keep this install a V3 and shorten the construction time. While I would love to see a V4 here having to redo dirt work to run more conduit would take awhile.
  13. I

Supercharger - Seattle, WA - NW. 45th St. (Under Construction Oct 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Yeah, they definitely threw me for a loop. Tesla is usually pretty keen on the little details. Shipping 5 unused pedestals seems sloppy and unlike them.
  14. I

Supercharger - Shoreline, WA (Under Construction Aug 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Proximity to amenities such as bathrooms, great “Urban” supercharger for those who don’t have home charging but also shop at Trader Joe’s. Well lit, clean, nestled in the back of the parking lot. Really easy to get in an out of, with little to no chance of getting lost. If you shop at Trader...

Supercharger - Seattle, WA - NW. 45th St. (Under Construction Oct 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Visited this station last night. There has been no changes since the last person posted over a month ago. There are an additional 5 pedestals on site which feels accidental. Of all the sites I visited last night this one was by far the most cumbersome to get to, with the second least access to...
  16. I

Supercharger - Shoreline, WA (Under Construction Aug 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Slow moving on this project. But it is nice to see that these will likely be V4 dispensers with V3 cabinets. Of the 4 superchargers I visited last night Tacoma #3, Northgate #2, Ballard #2, and Shoreline - Shoreline was certainly my favorite.
  17. I

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S. Hosmer St. (LIVE 20 Apr 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

This site is VERY weirdly laid out. There are a total of 12 stalls. 7 are pull-ins, 2 are back ins that are 90° off axis from the pull-in stalls, then 5 are back ins in a different portion of the parking lot. This could cause some congestion with people just trying to pull in and out of the...

    Supercharger- Seattle, WA - Meridian Ave N (under construction Jan 2024, 12 V3 + L2)

Getting to this supercharger is a bit strange but doable. What did throw me for a loop is how this supercharger is not near any amenities. Even during business hours it may be hard to find a restroom at this location.
  19. I

    Supercharger - Butte, MT - Grizzly Trl. (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

I charged here last Christmas when it was -38°F in a RWD LFP Model 3. I saw ~145 kW vs the expected 172 kW (I was charging at the EA across the highway). The cables on these old V2 superchargers are REALLY hard to bend in these cold temps.
  20. I

    Supercharger - Missoula, MT - Highway 93 North (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

I thought and said the same thing but Missoula’s supercharger still today gets full from time to time. When I lived there in 2022 it was NEVER full in the winter.
  21. I

Supercharger - Leavenworth, WA (LIVE Jul 2018, 16 V2 stalls)

These chargers have been open for almost 5 years at this point… I recommend the little store they are in front of. It’s very cute.
  22. I

    Supercharger - Suquamish, WA (LIVE 13 Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Pea gravel laid, transformer installed, meter installed but not on, and fencing pulled down. This charger is just waiting to be energized and commissioned!
  23. I

    Supercharger - Bothell, WA - 201st Place Southeast (LIVE 21 Mar 2024, 12 V4 stalls)

Bad photos but this is actually a 12 stall! There are 3 cabinets on site.
  24. I

    Supercharger - Kirkland, WA (LIVE 7 Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

@Mrbrock yet another strange site where they’ve removed the bollards… but the likelihood of this being a Magic Dock site is absurd… what are they doing I wonder.
  25. I

    Supercharger - Missoula, MT - Highway 93 North (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

I always thought the same thing. Removing the bollards is going to spell disaster for all those PSU sites where the charger is bolted VERY securely to the large base.
  26. I

    Supercharger - Missoula, MT - Highway 93 North (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

On MagicDock locations they almost always remove the bollards to ensure non-Tesla drivers can pull up far enough to plug their vehicles into the chargers.
  27. I

    Supercharger - Missoula, MT - Highway 93 North (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

Agreed, they would own the entire market until EA finally gets their sites online.
  28. I

    Supercharger - Butte, MT - Grizzly Trl. (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 8 V3 stalls)

This site has had the bollards removed similarly to Missoula's new supercharger. Do you think this may be due to an impending update to support Magic Dock? They usually only remove them on sites that will have Magic Dock.
  29. I

    Supercharger - Missoula, MT - Highway 93 North (LIVE 25 Jan 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

Someone uploaded this image of this location on October 23rd... If you look closely the bollards have been removed which were present in previous photos. Do you think this may be a sign that Tesla is going to be upgrading this location to a Magic Dock site?

@Big Earl this supercharger is live!!
  32. I

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S Steele St. (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

This design is pretty similar to the job done up in Burlington on the 16 stall. Very tight for pulling into but you’d either need to be fully off your rocker or an expert driver to ever consider pulling a trailer into this lot. So I don’t see this being an issue.
  33. I

    Supercharger - Kirkland, WA (LIVE 7 Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Certainly a V3. Coming along nicely!
  34. I

    Supercharger - Sparks, NV

I really wish someone would take a photo of the NACS handle from a side and front-on view. The charger handle looks thicker than V3 and V2 installs.
  35. I

    Supercharger - Sparks, NV

It's 10:24 AM and the site is still showing as offline... I wonder why it's not working if they said it would be doing a ribbon cutting today.
  36. I

    Supercharger - Coeur d'Alene, ID (LIVE Feb 2015, 6 V2 + 8 V3 stalls)

Has anyone been by this charger lately? It looks like it has been downgraded in the app back to a 6 stall??
  37. I

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S Steele St. (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

It's a container of electrons they use for priming the supercharger electron pumps. That way they can get all the air bubbles out of cables. /s
  38. I

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S Steele St. (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

I agree, it’s such a strangely squatty box for a supercharger site.
  39. I

    Supercharger - Kirkland, WA (LIVE 7 Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Kirkland is almost certainly a V3. Only one conduit. Not much additional things to report at this time.
  40. I

    Supercharger - Prattville, AL

Great photos! If you swing by again, take a photo of the cabinet’s spec sheet. It’ll be located somewhere on the side of the white boxes. This will give us more information about how much power these can deliver. Also, if you could take a photo of the handle and the handle’s plug, that’ll let us...
  41. I

Supercharger - Shoreline, WA (Under Construction Aug 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Tukwila had this exact same setup with a larger gray conduit and a smaller white conduit to each post. But when they poured concrete they only left the gray conduit above grade… when looking at that site V3 posts were in boxes. I’m hopeful that this will be a V4 but I am very confused about...
  42. I

Supercharger - Liberty Lake, WA (LIVE Mar 2022, 12 V3 stalls)

There is a 12 stall open to the public with 4 stalls around back reserved for service. For some reason the 4 stalls around back are now showing as publicly available even though Tesla has confirmed on previous visits that those stalls are not for public use.
  43. I

    Supercharger - Tukwila, WA - Southcenter Parkway (LIVE 2 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Unfortunately this site is going to be a V3. I stopped by yesterday and the rain had weathered the cardboard away to show V3 posts. The smaller diameter tubing seems to have been buried under the pavement since I last visited. I saw a bit of scrap laying beside the cabinets but all the other...
  44. I

    Supercharger - Belgrade, MT (LIVE 13 Oct 2023, 8 V3 stalls)

It's alive!!! @Big Earl I am excited for Missoula to come online. Lots of superchargers in the region but I think the Missoula one will help to take the load off the old V2 6 stall there. Bozeman was also DESPERATELY in need.
  45. I

    Supercharger - Suquamish, WA (LIVE 13 Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Unfortunately this supercharger is still a LONG way off. No transformer, even lifted the HOLE board and exposed a bunch of un-terminated cables. Idk who approved the project as complete but they need to get their eyes checked.
  46. I

    Supercharger - Tukwila, WA - Southcenter Parkway (LIVE 2 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

We didn't have our phones at the time... So here's some horrible footage from the car's camera. There are 4 cabinets. All the excavation and pipe laying seems to be complete. This one has the weird large pipe small pipe design that we saw in Wilsonville... So possibly V4?
