The delivery of the correct mat has now been sitting at East Midlands for six days. No idea why, Tesla tell me nothing whilst DHL tell me to contact Tesla. Hopeless. The returned mat got from me to Tesla in two days.

I’ve had no issues with TeslaFi (default settings) and the car sleeping, but after I linked it to A Better Route Planner it screwed it up. Unlinking ABRP and it went back to sleeping happily again. So just a thought, do you have it linked to anything else in addition to TeslaFi?

Update just for the sake of it. One month on from the original order I’ve finally got a return label for the incorrect frunk mat. Still no sign of the correct one being sent though.

Just a thought... see if you can find a local friendly Model 3 owner who’d come and do a test fitting for you. Or try and get one for a test drive to try.

That is narrower, mine is 294cm, coming in to 272cm where the piers are.

I like mine, probably stating the obvious. The brighter the day or available light the more it pops. Photos don’t really do the colour justice, much better in the flesh.

As it happens I have another Somfy garage door remote on order (£33) that will just be velcroed unobtrusively to live in the car when it arrives. For simple garage door opening purposes, what am I missing with anything more sophisticated than that?

I didn't make it clear in the post sorry, but I was wondering if these blinds above would work for the roof? Suspect they'd sag too much if they stuck okay, but something similar that didn't sag would be ideal. Last car had an electric blind that you could have open or closed.

Speaking of Tesla... on Monday this week they delivered the wrong frunk mat to the one I’d ordered. Emailed them, got an auto response saying we’ll get back to you, still waiting for anything further. Five days and they can’t actually reply, hopeless.

My fairly limited experience of cruise control thus far is that be it acceleration or braking it is anything but subtle. Compared to the Merc I had before, it’s bloody awful.
