I would rather have a date that I can trust, and not be lied to when placing the order. For weeks after I ordered, Tesla was still claiming that my exact design could still be delivered in a few weeks despite my EDD showing in months. It's very underhanded and a shady business practice.

The "Tesla experience" is supposed to be better than ALL cars, not just EVs. Of course Ford is struggling with the Mach-e. It's their first real attempt at an EV.

There is probably no correlation, but this is why I suggest not getting the trade-in involved until after you get a VIN. as soon as you get a VIN, ask your SA to open up that option and get an offer.

What happens if they call me the week before we go on vacation and say it's going to be delivered on the second day of our vacation? Will they hold it for 10 days while we are away?

This concerns me a bit. The last round of push backs puts us uncomfortably close to our vacation for this year. Getting a notification that we need to pick up the car while we are on vacation is not going to go well.

Just got pushed back from 4/28-5/12 to 5/16-5/30. This company is a complete shitshow. Id rather sit in a finance Office for three hours than deal with this nonsense.

I don’t think that narrowing means anything. It seems to just be a bot that narrows the window as you get close to your EDD. I’ve had mine narrowed and extended twice.
