I was electric mower long before the electric car. I hated the first mowing of the spring with the ICE mower. Damn thing would never start and I'd battle and cuss for hours, gas and grease all over. Now it's plug and go!

Great to hear, especially as I'll be signing up for the Ranger service. I haven't had any major problems but I've been very happy with the responsiveness and proactive attitude of the service folks.

The FedEx business plan was apparently pooh-poohed at HBS and got an average grade. Delivering packages cross-country overnight? That plan worked out OK.

We had our first 90+ day here recently and I got the same (very loud) sound. Definitely not a sound that would be covered up by an ICE and kind of embarrassing. I actually turned the AC off at a stop light it was so loud.

I've gotten rated range on my first two road trips. The first, car was fully loaded with people and luggage and had to drive pretty conservatively. Second was by myself and no special care was taken. Not much high speed freeway driving though. (> 73 mph)

Probably not a great everyday solution but we used half of a dog crate on our last road trip and it worked great.

I got the same packet and registration went smoothly. The check Tesla sent was made out to DMV, instead of me, and since the total of tax,title, registration was less than the check, DMV wouldn't accept it. I don't blame DMV, as that creates headaches for refunding the balance. I'm not sure...

I wouldn't expect a headache so much. If you don't get the paperwork I mentioned above at delivery, just call within a few days to check on progress. If nothing's happening, ask them to Fedex the paperwork to you, go to DMV and you're done. Of course DMV out here in the sticks is a different...

I have the same concerns MS1079. I interpret the wording of the agreement the same as you. The website, however, defines "Tesla Service" as "includes replacement parts like brake pads and windshield wipers". Mixed signals.

My guess is there's really some guy who manually works the light and he just enjoys looking at your car.:smile:

Sorry, late reply, but for future reference: I saw a post here 3-4 months back about a new Level 2 charger in Lewisburg, WV - I believe it was the Fort Lewis Inn. This is right off I-64.
