Like the Model S/X, you should be able to open the charger port even when the car is locked. Just press the "button" on the charger plug. Once plugged in, you can't release the charger plug without the key fob.

No, because map updates are done in the background (Wifi or LTE) and it can go over several days to get the large amount of data.

If you can't connect to Wifi at night, you just have to wait until the car tells you to do so. When you car should received an update you will get a notification that your car will get a firmware update and ask you to connect to Wifi :) First time I saw this message is when travelling in France...

"Rated range at 70% SOC also changes accordingly between 312 and 315 km" seams low ! I don't have data for 70% but at 80% I still have rated range around 505 km and full battery capacity around 97 kWh.

I get the same message when backing out of my garage or out of an underground parking spot with a wall on one side of the car. Both cameras on the side of the car have a limited view because of the wall of the garage or parking spot.
