I can't take credit for it - back when the numbers were visible on the MyTesla code, there were current owners that went back and looked at their older S / X / R orders and corroborated the numbers were consecutive back thru the earlier vehicles.

it is the same queue for all reservations / orders. so any gaps between the employee reservations and march 31st would be Model S and X orders being placed.

Tesla has been saying for some time now that new reservations would be end of 2018+. So if you reserved last month and expect delivery early 2018, I think you are being overly optimistic.

the door pockets were included on the alpha, so think people since seeing it last year have assumed it would have door pockets and so not a revolutionary thing to see now.

you can see the brakes thru the wheel (cover?) so they are certainly not on steel wheels.

having a convertible, I can tell you much more road noise comes from the sides than overhead. Its easier to have a conversation and/or hear the radio with the top down and windows up than top up and windows down. So with that said, I don't think such a small roof area would make a difference...

In the second photo, the pink reflection off the rear glass continues up onto the roof section though - maybe it's still glass, but opaque spandrel glass to match the body color.

Tempered breaks into small chunks ( not sharp shards) and laminated as a layer o fuse it together so it will not break apart. Windshields are laminated, the other glass should all be tempered but not likely laminated.
