Has anyone checked with their local Tesla service center. I don't know if they still do this, but the Tampa service center used to keep a supply of refurbished wheels in stock and would do a wheel swap for a couple hundred bucks. They would send your old busted wheel off to a local refinisher...

Took delivery of same 2 weeks ago and did come with dual motor badge. Maybe Tesla was reading your mind. ;)

To keep things in perspective, Tesla does 1,000s of deliveries each week with zero hiccups. Its unfortunate that readers of this forum, like OP, go into the process expecting it to be slow and convoluted. I believe Tesla gets it right more times than they get it wrong.

For reference next time, call Tesla service and they will send a truck out to do a wheel swap the same day. They take your wheel back to the shop and will fix the flat for $50. Then you just schedule an appointment to take your car in and have your old wheel put back on. In my case they couldn't...

You’re getting a better than average trade-in offer from Tesla. I’d take them up on it. We fit 2 teenagers and a child booster seat in the back of my M3 no problem.
