I called my service center, they said to create an appt in the app, make sure you put down in the description you want a mobile svc appt, if they can service with mobile tech, Tesla will change the appt to mobile... at least that’s what happened with me

So I had my Homelink installed on 4/6/20, mobile svc tech couldn’t get it to work, said it was either hardware failure or software issue... ordered a replacement was scheduled to come back 4/8/20.... I go out to my MY this afternoon and what do I see... Homelink icon next to my WiFi... set up...

And like magic... I go out this afternoon and what do I see... huge glare on my screen... matte screen protector ordered

I haven’t really noticed a glare on my screen when I drive. Now it’s on my mind so I’ll pretty see a glare the next time i go out

For those who installed a screen protector, are they worth it? I’m on the fence on getting one...and I don’t know if i should go matte or hd clear. I;m almost inclined to just clean my screen every so often with a micro fiber cloth... unless the screen protectors really make that much of a...

Unfortunately the HomeLink module i was shipped is defective...luckily i got a Tesla mobile tech who knew what the heck he was doing and was able to rush me a new one. The tech even came back out a 2nd time the same day, to try to get the first one to work

Thanks, I called the my local SC and they said they were still doing mobile service and the app should offer it based on what you want done. I guess the app didn’t recognize my home link as mobile service capable, but the Ben said it def is mobile service capable, so hopefully they will send...

I have a similar issue with my MY charge port door not sitting flush against the tail light, it’s not terrible but I wasn’t sure if it was b/c of the charge port. Is there any benefit to connecting the wall charger to your Wi-Fi? My electrician just installed mine today and the MY is charging at 48A, 44mi/hr, & 235v so I don’t need to change the wall charger settings

You might be right about the Stealth P... when I was waiting for my MY delivery at the SC, I took a photo of a performance MY & it’s VIN. Back “Dual Motor” logo had the red stripe under it and the 8th digit was “F” in the VIN. Unless Tesla installs the same motors and just changes the software...

I walked around several times, kept my distance from the delivery advisor. Overall very happy with the build quality, nothing that sticks out to me requiring me to bring it back and have it fixed. However there were a few MY in the lot where the panel gaps were pretty noticeable, so my advice...

YIKES... I‘ve heard of 3 MY’s not passing inspection for delivery out of the Rockville location so far in the past day.... my delivery date is scheduled for Sat 28th...but with everything I’m hearing maybe I should just prepare to be disappointed... VIN is 10XX

I read that too... but automotive supply stores and repair shops are considered to be essential and can stay open. I’m hoping the Tesla service centers are still open and can still do deliveries... either at the service centers or via home delivery all contactless
