    Deliveries of $80k X?

I believe they require insurance at least 3 days before pickup.
  2. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Yes - there was one in my frunk when I picked up yesterday.
  3. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

    I'll grab some pics tomorrow

    Deliveries of $80k X?

It's like they just don't care. I understand there's a year end rush, but I had an almost 200-mile drive back home and randomly tried to clean the windshield. Guess what? No windshield washer fluid in the car I just picked up. That's like basic stuff even the cheapest manufacturers/dealerships...

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Once they start taking things apart, you almost always end up with rattles and squeaks that become a major pain in the butt to diagnose and resolve.

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Picked up today. The pickup experience sucked (posted about it yesterday). There was a lady raising hell there about her new delivery that wouldn't even drive when she tried to pickup, and because she had already accepted delivery, all they could do was give her a loaner and order replacement...
  7. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

No. If anything was required, you would have been asked already.
  8. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

You won't know until after pickup, at least that was my experience with my previous MY when I financed through Tesla. May be worth looking into FedChoice, if you are interested in lower rates.

    Deliveries of $80k X?

The entire time I was there this afternoon/evening, it was only showing my downpayment in the app. I got a hotel close to the delivery center so I could figure out tomorrow morning. Of course the app now shows the payment from FedChoice. I wonder if it was on Tesla's end. Sigh! One anomaly is...

    Deliveries of $80k X?

I got this all completed Friday, and if I remember correctly, wire was supposed to go out Friday afternoon but didn't go out until today, at least according to FedChoice.
  11. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

How did you get it resolved? The FedChoice call center is closed for the day, unfortunately, so there is no way to get a hold of a live person to clear up. I wish they'd have just sent the wire confirmation that I requested 3 times and they promised they'd send. Sigh!

    Deliveries of $80k X?

I've had some success calling 301-699-6151. Hoping I can still take delivery today. They were supposed to wire Tesla my funds for my delivery today at 6pm. Just got off the plane to head to the delivery center and there's an email from Tesla that they haven't received funds yet. Of course...

    Deliveries of $80k X?

The problem is with how fast inventory disappears, it's almost impossible to get a hold of your SA to change things using the same reservation, assuming they even agree to do so.
  14. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Don't qualify for tax credit. Also getting a 7-seater.
  15. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

I think I'm going to cancel my order and go with the inventory stock (I have both on order). Only difference is that the inventory model has the yoke for an additional $1k, and since I hate the yoke, I'll end up paying another $750 to retrofit the steering wheel. Sigh!

    Deliveries of $80k X?

My understanding is that it was the other way around - Rivian wanting out of Amazon's exclusivity.
  23. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Turns out the dropped the loyalty discount on November 10 for the Model X and S. All you get now is points or whatever, but no discount off the price.
  24. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

    Sigh. Not on there
  25. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Ugh. Just reviewed my MVPA and my $250 loyalty isn't reflected, even though it was originally. I've texted and emailed SA. We'll see what happens.
  26. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Interesting. Wonder if I can get them to generate a new MVPA. Currently scheduled for pickup on Monday in Austin.

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Any plans to kick out delivery once you're assigned a VIN to try to get a 2024 VIN?
  28. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

You're so close. At this point, it probably wouldn't be too bad an idea
  29. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

My SA sent me a text that it can only be added at time of purchase. Bummer!
  30. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

1.99 is unicorn territory today, even 2.99. May not be worth it, in my opinion. I'm still going with FedChoice. Just wish I did the app 2 weeks ago.
  31. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

I think they are more of a broker and shop around for the "best" rates
  32. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Inventory that was exactly my build with the exception of having the yoke add on vs steering. I don't qualify for the tax credit, so I'm ok with this. As I rushed to snag it before someone else did, I forgot to use my referral code :( Sigh!
  33. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Was this for 60 months or 72 months?
  34. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Too bad I didn't see this when i applied to USSFCU 3 weeks ago. I got their best rates @ 5.74. Now not sure if it's worth another hard hit to save 1%. Would have been all over it for 3.99%
  35. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

How do you land 3.99% still for new members? I called after the recent updates and they said base rate is 4.99% and a 0.25% discount for new members.
  36. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Correct, unless there's something wrong but on my end, the price of the car posted was 78k
  37. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

How's that? Aren't demos considered new?

Sigh. Looks like the next few weekends are going to be dedicated to this.

    22 MX Plaid Interior Noises

Fixed my falcon wing doors, but good grief...this car rattles from everywhere. Is there an end to this? It's driving me crazy.
  40. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Tesla insurance is usually lower to start with, but unless you drive like a grandma, the monthly premium is going to increase when your safety score and annual estimated mileage get calculated in real-time after the first two months.
  41. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

I just did an appraisal on my 2022 Model X out of curiosity. 7 seater + 22" wheels with 19k miles. Tesla offered 52k. LOL

22" Rims and Pirreli Scorpion Zero AS Sell or just Keep

Curious how much you paid for your 20s and how the ride is compared to the 22s. I currently have 22s and considering swapping to 20s.
  43. E

    Deliveries of $80k X?

99% of the time, you'll be better off just selling it to CarMax or a similar dealer.

Yup. May be time to start pushing for answers.

Squeaky refresh falcon wing door trim panel

Not on every, but I dare to say most.
  46. E

Squeaky refresh falcon wing door trim panel

Yes. I got the exact ones you recommended that have the sticky back. I was having a hard time finding the exact spots, so I just did a long run across half the door. I'll try spraying some silicone lube behind the plastic trim too.

    Anyone with squeaky/creaking headliner?

Sigh. I don't think squeaks will qualify as lemon, as it doesn't truly affect the functionality of the car. I'll keep trying to resolve myself.
  48. E

    Anyone with squeaky/creaking headliner?

I was able to figure out how to eliminate the squeaking from my falcon wing doors by using felt on the sides after my SC couldn't fix. However, I still get squeaking/creaking from the headliner area around the seals of the FWD whenever I go over a slope or bump. Has anyone been able to solve...
