    Combining this with a Dryer Buddy Plus AUTO eliminates the need to mess with the dryer cord or worry about tripping any breakers, unlike the load center option. No need for an electrician to install the power tunnel that I can see as you're just installing a plugged pass-through and not working...

    Concade1, did you end up going with this setup? I'm looking at going this route as well since the 21mph charge rate for my pending Model Y will be more than sufficient and definitely preferable over the $3.5K I was quoted for a new 14-50 install. :oops:
