Tesla setup a drive up inspection station at a park in central Tucson on Saturday- took 2 minutes but I stayed little while to talk to the service center guys and a passer by interested in my car - outstanding customer sevice
I have 1 inch metal conduit running to my air conditioner which is right below my garage. I would like opinions on weather I can run 6 gauge wire for a 14-59 Plug in the same conduit and just put in a T joint.
I got my covers from Wet Okole - work great and have cutouts for the air bags - my tan seats where getting stained and showing a lot of wear, plus the are perfect for my Golden Retriever in the back seat
My Tesla is by far the most expensive car to maintain than anything I have ever owned. But I have never owned a Bentley. I was fully aware of the costs and would still buy it again.
Arizona does the same but gives pure HE's a break. My Tesla would have cost close to $6,000 for 5 years of registration but with the break only $122 for 5 years.
Yes you pay the 5.6% AZ state tax and could theoretically be bill by the county and city for their tax. If you pick the car up in CA you will pay CA sales tax. If the CA tax was lower which it is not you would pay the difference when registering in AZ.
I have no idea - never had any other manufacturer do that but who knows - if I where to do it again I would order the upgraded sound - for me I was really disappointed with the standard sound so I went for the upgrade
Charging time Scottsdale -> San Diego
I go to Tucson to Carlsbad quite often. Short stop in Gila Bend and then a pretty long charge in El Centro. Lutes Casino in Yuma is great place for lunch if you stop I. Yuma.
Wow very unnecessary snippyness.
Anyway to answer your questions:
1) What other cars were you considering that CR pushed you over the edge to Tesla?
None - was happy with my Prius.
2) What other cars do you think are in the same class (Luxury EV?)
None
3) So without the CR report you...
Well said. Losing the range when the map is up makes me wish I could go back to version 6. Having a pre autopilot and old TPMS sensors version 7 does nothing for me.
Same here but all my saving are eating up by the $600 a year service cost for a Tesla. 2 oil changes on my Prius ran about $100 total. So a wash money wise but a way cooler car.
