    New M3P vs.Used P85D+

After driving a P85D for couple weeks and test driving the P3D+, I'd choose the P85D hands down if I were to look a vehicle for speeding purposes. The P85D with insane and ludicrous mode are just on a different level than P3D+. AP 1.0 was not that bad but it does feel like you are driving a...

Thought on my M3 LR after about a few road trips

That's another reason why I'm quite hesitating to trade in my RWD for a P3D+, I thou the experience will be the same as the P85D but it wasn't (acceleration wise) plus you get a hit on range due to extra weight (second motor) and the "Sport" drive option. I still have few days left to think...

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

After talking to UP, they assured me that, for my daily drive needs, the UP Mild would be enough plus they can do the install themselves at their shop. I think I'll pull the trigger on it unless I see any other reason to go with TSport. Thank you for your help =)

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

I see, got it. Are you having UP coilovers installed in your M3? Do you know if those are similar to MPP performance coilover? How much will it cost you including installation and alignment? Also, how was your experience selling your RWD? I'm looking at losing around 7k from original loan and...

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

I see, thank you for the explanation. It seems that, for my required height, I kinda don't need the coilovers but UP mild springs (dual) or TSport (linear / progressive) springs should be enough? Thank you again for the info.

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

Also, forgot to add something important as well. How does this change affects Tesla's suspension warranty? Does anyone know? I believe it should not be an issue if I do the TSport springs (which was also kinda recommended by some Tesla ppl) but I want to get all the info needed before I decide...

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

I see, but I was actually quite curious about what the wife said about the ride. Comparison wise, I believe he had the moderated or lowered suspension while I'm looking for mild suspensions. People on forums have told me that they love their TSport springs and some people in youtube had told me...

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

*checking my backyard*... I can't see them. lol Jokes aside, UP is located in LA and I saw some vids in where they do their own installation. Their coilovers are a bit more expensive than MPP but I think I won't be charged shipping if I go pick them up myself and have them install it. If you...

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

I see. I do quite aggressive driving (flooring it every time I have a chance lol) hence wanted to low my M3 to get some extra performance and speed, not planning on going to the track thou. Just canyon runs, freeways and LA streets. Do you think I can get away with lower springs or I should...

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

Oh, wouldn't just get new springs suffice? since the car is almost brand new and all. Please elaborate why MPP coilover will be better for my RWD M3? Thank you.

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

I see, I was under the impression that they did lower the car a bit. The 20'' OEM looks nice but I think I'll keep my 19'' OEM, powder coat them metallic gray and either use UP Mild or TSport springs. I think it combines best with my red M3. Got it. Thank you all for your input =)

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

I think the main reason to upgrade to 20'' OEM tires will be to have tesla work on my suspension. I want to lower my M3 a bit more but after reading lot of comments regarding TSport and Mild UP, Tesla suspension upgrade seems a good option since I won't have to worry about any warranty issue and...

Just got 20" performance wheels installed on my Model 3!

I think the gap difference above your tires have been reduced with the bigger wheel and upgraded suspension. I currently have the 19'' OEM wheels and all season tires looking to upgrade suspension to TSPort/Mild UP but after reading your comments and looking at the pic of your P3D, I think it...

19 vs 20 in wheels on model 3 non-performance version...

Quick question, Would 19'' OEM wheels/all season tires give you better look / performance over the 20'' OEM wheels/summer tires? I currently have the 19'' OEM wheels all season tires but I live in SoCal hence I think summer tires will increase performance on my RWD M3. I've been thinking on...

    Lowering the Model 3

Hello @HelloJohnny , Again, thank you for being so helpful. I'm ok with stiffy ride since I got used to it on my previous cars haha. Any noticeable increase on cabin noise? Also, how's your range now, any noticeable decrease in range? I have a multicoat red with red calipers, gonna get my 19''...

    Lowering the Model 3

Also, @HelloJohnny , did you use any spacers? Because I'm not quite sure if I need/want those haha. Based on your feedback, I think I will go ahead and order these TSport springs and have them installed in the same place as you did since I don't know any other place close to AV / Santa Clarita...

    Lowering the Model 3

Hi there, I see, thank you for your feedback. Any issues when having 5 people in the car? Kinda afraid of rear clearance when fully loaded hence why reaching out to you and anyone who has UP mild springs as well. Thank you again for your help. =)

    Lowering the Model 3

Wow, that looks amazing. May I ask how your daily drive feels with these new springs? I'm looking to lower my M3 LR RWD but to keep some space since I usually have family riding in the back. So far, between UP Mild and TSport, the latter seems to be having less issues plus it kinda got...
