I wrapped it myself with an RPMTesla Carbon decal. It takes some patience but it's definitely possible. The E was the hardest to get right.

Happened to me today. At first the autopilot section of the IC turned to the side profile avatar of the car (what shows when the car is parked) and then it went black. Had to scroll wheel reset.

This has now been working for me.

Wow, it's surprising they would streamline even more. Is carbon fiber available for P100Ds? Edit: saw it's the only option for P100Ds. No center console either.. no FSD... interesting.

Late June/Early July 2018 production P100D, delivered early August. I don't want to jinx myself but it has been fairly flawless. After V9 I've had 3 times where the audio didn't work and I had to scroll wheel reset. That's as bad as it has been. 2700 miles.

They restore the damage and then powdercoat. $150 per wheel.

You probably need a map update first. Get that done and then Nav on AP will automagically appear. :D

Usually firmware updates don't happen until maps are updated first. I assume that's one of the reasons why people vary in their sequence of updates. Map updates generally are much larger.

As @trmmcd said, they can and will drop coverage on the Extended Warranty if you don't perform the scheduled maintenance. It will not affect the New Car Warranty. It's one of the reasons I didn't purchase it during the 90-day new car period and will see how it goes over the next ~47k miles.

I don't understand why they wouldn't just partner with Chargepoint to do this. It would be a win-win for each company. That's who runs their (limited) charging right now.

The most expensive parts to replace (motors, etc.) are least likely to break, so as long as your FWDs have not caused you any trouble over time, anything else will cost less to replace for the most part. I think the center screen is $2000-3000 to replace, for example.

If all the other chrome is deleted is black then do the handles the same. I kept the logos as well.

Email from my OA says exactly this. Also, when FSD is a reality, it will probably be a $10k upgrade because it will be worth it. As long as they honor the fact that we purchased it, I'm fine with letting them hold my money.

I bought it last month since they would honor the $4k upgrade fee from when I purchased. I only did it because they said they would upgrade the hardware as necessary. Otherwise no.

Yes, they do disappear. Surprisingly the header does not, anymore. So the profile name, homelink still show on the top.

@spectrum came into this with his flame suit on! V9 is what the future is going to be. It looks like they're already updating it (got 39.7 last night) and I was able to start the update from my phone, while in bed. That is a V9 win right there.

Hollywood Studios is not available and will not be for a while. They are revamping the whole parking lot as they get ready for the new gondola system between the parks. The EV chargers are behind a privacy fence right now. I'd give it another 4-5 months probably.

In case you guys don't peruse the other sections, there is a way to have 3 apps open at the same time on the main screen, as long as the first 2 are Nav and Music. :) Kudos to Brenda on the FB group for finding this! Triple App Screen on v9! It seems that Nav and Music/Media are the top 2...

They aren't showing up on Chargepoint yet but you would think they'd be active by now.

Have you seen the instant energy usage chart on a "cold" start? It is crazy high, so that's why it affects range initially.

Happened again to me. Second day in a row, all because of the V9 update. Not too happy with the "upgrade" at this point.

This just happened to me after the update to V9. The scroll wheel reset did the trick. It was the first time I had ever experienced total silence in the X.

With V9 moving forward at least you can initiate the update process from your phone instead of having to go to your car and manually accept it. Or, with the new referral program you can get early access after 4 or 5 referrals... although I don't think that is a real benefit.
