Depending on the VIN there can be overlap. I've heard of certain 2.0 Roadsters that still had the carbon fiber trunk tub and the inflatable lumbar support bulb.

I currently have it at FAT32, which is weird since it worked last time with no issues. The error is just the VDS saying unable to save data to memory stick or something along those lines.

I've been trying to pull the logs but the VDS keeps giving me memory stick issues. I've got the VehicleLogs folder on the root directory, FAT32, 4 GB, etc. Do I have to reset the VMS? I tried the charge port trick but it didn't seem to work.

My remote barely works from a distance, usually I hover my key over the wiper area and that usually does the trick. I have a 1.5 so not sure if the receiver placement changed in later models. There is an old thread on improving range with a small DIY trick.

Waking the car on OVMS turns on power to 12V? I gotta get myself one of these.

Does that work?? Which heater do you use since someone mentioned the amperage issue from the 12V socket. Today I went out for a 2 hour round-trip drive and using the air recirculation it kept the cabin nice and toasty! I'm so used to keeping the vents open in ICE vehicles.

For mine the heat is great at lower speeds like around town,but once I get on the highway and hit like 75 mph it doesn't work as well. It'll keep the cabin lukewarm at best, though I notice it works slightly better with the hard top vs soft top. If it's like 30s to 40s F it's not too bad, but...

I have a set of these installed by the previous owner. How often do I check the pads and general brake maintenance? Does Tesla check these on the annual service?

I was dead set on a 2.x until reading more into all those issues. Probably would've gotten one anyway but a good deal came on my 1.5/3.0 and I just couldn't pass it up.

How long do these films generally last? I know some can be self healing, which is useful for our cars which just love gravel and rock chips.

Honestly I get withdrawal when I don't drive the Roadster, especially when my other cars are a Hyundai Santa Fe and a Honda Civic!

I bought #209 back in June this year and currently has almost 88,000 miles. No issues thus far, it had its annual service back in April with no major issues. Knock on wood. But mine is a 3.0 which has until March 2020 for the warranty on its PEM and battery.

I've been considering doing a paint correction and PPF to protect my lovely #209. I'm in the NYC area and wanted to know what people have paid to get this done?

This is great, at the very least it breaks down the Roadster down to the basic components so we can better figure out things for ourselves. I'm sure as 3D printing gets more advanced we can make some of these parts ourselves
