@atc789 - If you're going to plastidip it, I recommend doing one part first and apply the gloss paint to see if it matches the color of your car. then you can decide if the difference in color (2% - 5% difference) is acceptable. i have a pearl white MS and painted my lower trims and its not...

+1 for Vinyl Styles in Belmont, CA. Multiple users here have told me they do quality job. I had mines done somewhere else for $350 (window sidings, mirror, handles and rear appliqué). so far it's still holding up after two years but would like to re-do my mirrors. IMHO, it looks better...

Only a matter of time and money.... How much money are they willing to invest in R&D. I think it's easier on cosmetic changes but for motors and inverters, companies would have to reverse engineer what Tesla has done so they can find out how can they produce better parts.

Test drove a P85. That night, I put in my deposit and finalized my order. So if you're not ready to spend a ludicrous amount of money on an EV car, DO NOT TEST DRIVE. :D that's why i know the M3 will be a beast. if there is a p90D or P100D for M3, it's on top of my wish list.

i actually like the mall location of Tesla showrooms. no need to advertise to tvs or anything. the traffic alone is a good advertisement for the company. however, I think they should start showcasing the newer cars, MX and M3 and rotate it every month / quarter to keep the excitement going.

since the M3 is shorter, it looks taller. similar to a prius, if there is a longer version of the prius, the longer version would look lower. i'm really liking the Frunk hood. i hope they reinforce it so we can close it properly, with no worries about denting it.
