Sorry to hear and see the damage! I don't think they'll replace your bumper. They will just buff, repaint it and will order the parking sensors if it's damaged. Most likely, they will remove your bumper and check the inside if there are internal damage. Go with the certified Tesla body...

Thank you for the kind words. I had the lower panels painted. I also had the same concern that the pieces were not smooth and whichever I pick will not hold. But the person who I spoke with said that the paint would hold better on harsh environments than if i get them wrapped. See post #41...

Agree with Father Bill. On a red car, red calipers and dark/black wheels is a MUST to highlight the red calipers. But if you want to be different, gold or white calipers with silver wheels will look good. :wink:

Check and see if plastidip can handle the heat. I don't think it can but I could be wrong.

I prefer the dark wheels especially if you have red calipers. When you're driving down the freeway, the red calipers pops out more. (I'm biased since I have black wheels.) :wink:

I have my MS for 10 months now with 30K miles. So far, the only issue I had is the drive unit and Tesla replaced the DU for free. No issue with the body, rattles and squeaks so I'm a happy camper. But this is good information to know. As consumers, it's nice to know the good and the bad...

@eteyemd - Your car will definitely stand out if your lower panels are painted. 2000x agree with Moe that if properly painted, the paint will hold up through time. Putting a clear bra will add more protection. Here's my amateur clip. You'll see my pearl white with black wheels and painted...
