Great introduction! What carbon fiber parts did you order? You have me thinking! I always do CF for my sports cars and didn’t even give it a thought for the Plaid ….

My car was delivered on 2/28 (with the old headlights) as they just shut down production line for the new headlights. *%#& !!!!

Great review and information (just got my S Plaid last week). Can you comment on charging? What do you suggest for the maximum charge? Would charger SLOWER extend the battery life? If so, which amperage? Thanks again and REALLY APPRECIATE you sharing your experience!

Is it harder on the battery to charge it faster (48A)? Should I use a slower charge speed (which one?) if I’m going to charge overnight and it will have plenty of time?

My FSD cost $10k ... which (according to my iPhone app) looks like I can still elect to delete. I just looked up ordering a new Model S ... and FSD is now $12k !!!

Taking delivery of S Plaid this weekend! Is Full Self Driving recommended? I would like to use auto-park, radar guided cruise control, and lane keeping assist ... are those already included with Autopilot? Which extra features would I miss out on if I skipped the Full Self Driving $10k upgrade?

Do the new brakes affect one-pedal driving in any way?

why will they be awful on the street? noise? too binary (on or off ... I remember driving a Gallardo Superlegerra with carbons and though they were going to send me through the windshield as soon as I pressed the brake pedal)? some other reason?

So … new S Plaid on order for anticipated delivery “December 2021” … which winter wheels and tires should I get? What’s the verdict? Will the dealer sell me and store my summer tires if I buy something for winter at the dealer?
