Yes, that's correct, and the ability to remotely enable/disable if necessary.

Is there anyone besides Tesla that makes an outdoor charger with a Tesla connector? There's a lot to like about the Juicebox and similar vendors that offer ways to remotely manage the charger, but they only have J-1772 adapters -- I'd rather not have to manage the adapter.

You would think that Tesla could "crowd source" the charger's peak value by correlating the car's GPS with charging rates.

Curious if it's better etiquette to park in the spot adjacent to the supercharger slot, stretch/pull the charger cord tight, and leave a sign on your charger port that you're doing convenience charging and they're free to steal the charger back?
