Any Model X in Denver Area

I understand that at least a few Model Xs have been delivered in Denver. Would one of the owners be willing to bring their car to a convenient location so some of us that are awaiting our Model Xs can take a look?

For Those Who Corfirmed Early With Little Info, Think You Might Make Any Changes?

I went with textile seats also, only partially to save money. Here are the reasons why I went with textile. 1) All of the sales people I have spoken with at the local Tesla store really like the textile seats. 2) The X seats are the same style with leather or textile. If you choose textile on...

    Denver Area Model X Signature

I was told yesterday at the Park Meadows store at least a few Model Xs have been delivered in Denver. Might one of the owners be willing to show their car to us patiently awaiting our Model X? Maybe you could spend an hour at Park Meadows or some place more convenient to you sometime soon?

    70D and 90D performance

This is one of the primary reasons I am going with the lower priced battery pack. We are somewhat isolated living in Denver. The Model X for me is an around town car and to/from ski weekend car. Getting 37 miles extra of range does not change this. I will wait for that point in time where price...

Standard vs. Leather seats for kids?

I have three pre-teen kids and decided on the textile seats. Inside sales tells me the material is identical to the Model S standard seats. I like the feel and durability of these seats on the S vs. leather, plus saving $2,500 didn't hurt either. This was the one decision I made that I sure...

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

What extra stuff are you talking about? I thought the $13,000 just gave you an increased battery size. As a matter of fact, the $13,000 is actually $15,500 because you have to also get the air suspension upgrade with the 90.

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

I just spoke with inside sales. Heated front seats are standard. The upgrade includes heated 2nd and 3rd row seats plus heated steering wheel.

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

I configured a week ago and no longer have access to design studio. I am 99.9% certain heated front seats is standard. Also, same confidence level on ventilated seats is only available as part of premium package.

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

I went into local Tesla store that had standard and premium sound in two Model S sedans in showroom. I could not tell much, if any difference in sound quality. The bass was a bit deeper but the large woofer took up a good amount of room in trunk. For these reasons plus cost savings, I chose...

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

It's funny you say that. I was thinking the same thing as I responded to your post. It might take a few days.

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

I configured my Model X on Monday. I noticed this morning that I had the option to confirm now or wait until December 7. I confirmed order. Below are the options I selected and why for those researching options for their X. 1) 70D - I do not need extra range or power, this is a city driving...

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

One other thing I was pleased with in the X design studio is you can select a black headliner at no additional cost. For the S, you can only get the black headliner by selecting the Premium package.

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

I'll try to explain better what I meant. The S offers three seating options. 1) Standard with synthetic, 2) leather at a cost of $1,750, and 3) next gen leather at a cost of $2,500. This implies the next gen seat is a $750 upgrade, although you can't order next gen synthetic seats on the S. The...

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

Primarily the hybrid Volvo XC90. I also priced the X5 and Audi Q7 just to see how much comparable cars cost but was not interested in these two alternatives. I should point out that I live in Colorado and get a state credit of $6,000, which helps when considering against ICE alternatives.

    Production X Configuration Has Begun!

I was production #19XX (November 2012) and just ordered my Model X. I was pleasantly surprised by a few things that I wanted to share with people researching options. First, all of the front seat options are next gen which are offered as an upgrade on the Model S for $750. I was planning on...

    Model X vs Volvo XC90

We are considering the T8 but will likely end up with the Model X. My take on T8 vs. T6 is the opposite of yours. The T8 costs $18,300. However, the Inscription package is $2,100 lower on the T8, federal tax credit $4,585, CO state credit of $6,000, gas savings, plus higher residual value upon...

From Inside Sales Rep: Latest News re: Signatures, Production Configuration, etc.

At ptsagcy's suggestion, I emailed Tesla. I got a call an hour or so later from what sounded like a relatively green employee. He indicated that all production reservation holders would be invited this year. He also indicated that since I am an early reservation holder (Nov 2012), my invite will...

    Model X pricing

On the Q3 earnings call, Elon Musk reiterated twice that it "will be no more than $5,000" more than a similarly equipped Model S. Who knows, maybe the spread is smaller than $5,000 but I tend to doubt it. Also, on one of his comments about pricing, he said comparison should be against a Model S...

    Model X 70D ?

Here is my non-scientific prediction of why we will see lower priced units around mid-summer. Model S deliveries seem to be averaging about 1/3 for the 70 and 2/3 for 85/90. Estimating 25,000 current reservation holder haven't or won't cancel, 17,000 deliveries have to occur before they start...

Reservation number gone from My Tesla

I have had reservation #1,938 since December 2012 but it is gone too and replaced with the following - RN318XXX. Anyone have any idea what this is?
