I agree, just make sure it's reflected on your paperwork. In my case due to a trade in my sales tax was like $2k, so minus $2500 I expect sales tax to be 0. Unfortunately it doesn't come off some of the fees that get lumped into the same line like RTA tax and Registration/Title fees. Still...
