If this is the case, then it's poor engineering from their side. Yes, there are multiple configurations out there and you want to minimize the software package size, but you don't need 1:1 configurations for that, only the number of combinations possible with relevant impact in the software...

With same tires and pressure, the 18” will always be more comfortable than the 19” wheels. Most of the times you’ll find different tires, so it’s difficult to get a like-to-like comparison.

Recommended is 42 psi, or a bit lower if you prefer a more comfortable ride.
