How long before 35k SR gets pulled?

My guess is the SR will be gone at the end of the quarter at the latest. They may use the HW3 as an excuse to kill it, but in the end I can't blame them. They are a business after all and need to stay profitable. They came very close to the $35k target with the SR+, and IMHO it's 'close...

    Wifi connection problems?

I tried two older b/g routers (D-Link Dir-605L & Belkin F9K1001V4) and the SR+ wouldn't even recognize them. It would connect to my iPhone7 hotspot so I knew wifi was working. I picked up a refurbished TP-Link AC1750 and it connected immediately to the 5GHz connection. Note that it even worked...

    SR Not Plus Waiting Room

I had a little better luck with the Tesla support Chat. They took my VIN and said I was added to 'the list' and would received more information about the downgrade procedure when the details firm up.

    SR Not Plus Waiting Room

Called both local stores, one had no clue and told me to call Tesla HQ, the second store the rep said, "Let me go ask my supervisor." And was told that I did have to return the car and reorder. (I didn't tell him what the Tesla rep had said, I just asked what the process was)

Battery life - limited recharge cycles.

Dunno, in Elon's tweet on April 13th (9AM) he referred to the durability of the Model 3 (compared them to semi truck grade components) and said, "Current battery modules should last 300k to 500k miles (1500 cycles)." If we are charging daily though, 1500 cycles is only 4 years...

    SR Not Plus Waiting Room

Yes, you can combine the EQ and Immersive together. Note though that Tesla appears to already be tightening up on SR downgrades. You apparently now have to return the existing vehicle then order a new SR base and wait for it and hope they deliver before end of quarter to get your federal...

    Model 3 SR with autopilot: $35k + $2k or $35k + $3k?

I just called to ask about downgrading my SR+ (I am on day 6 of my 7 day delivery return window). The local Tesla store didn't pick up so I got bounced to Tesla HQ operator who said that they just got clarification on the process and I'd have to bring my SR+ back to the local store and return...

    SR Not Plus Waiting Room

I just tested turning immersive off. It does make a difference, mostly in the bass and mid-highs. It definitely adds depth, but I was able to tweak the equalizer to partially compensate for it. With pretty much a standard 'V' on the equalizer the difference between immersive on and off is not...

    SR Not Plus Waiting Room

Quickshifter, I took delivery of a SR+ on Monday which, with a phonecall, I can turn into a SR. My only upgrade was the 19" wheels which IMHO made the car look much better. I love the car thusfar. For the money I think it's a phenomenal vehicle given the technology it includes. I honestly am...

actual price of SR (non-plus) version after recent news?

That's why they took the base SR 'off menu' though. It's effectively a 'custom' configuration, thus not subject to 'all'... For what it's worth people getting miffed over the base SR not having AP is really annoying since we all know Tesla is losing money on the base SR and is just selling a...

    SR Not Plus Waiting Room

Alex, the FRONT (and rear) heaters will be turned off on the SR. (The heaters are in the seats, but will be software disabled) SR+ has front heaters enabled, but REAR heaters disabled. SR will also have Immersive sound disabled and 20 miles of range disabled. Still not sure what to make of...
