MYP is so close to the 55k limit that it seems logical Tesla would try to figure out a way to qualify. I'm thinking a stealth version, 7 seat MYP, or some kind of post purchase acceleration boost to P level.
I took my car back to Redwoods 2 weeks ago for this exact rear rattle. They took the rear shocks out and lubricated the bearings. At least for me this helped a lot with the noise but there is still some. I think you have to remove shock and work that lubricant into the bearing. The trunk area...
The rear adjustment is actually quite easy once you figure out the right angle. I've done it so many times that I can now adjust both sides in less than 30 seconds. I use my right hand to adjust both sides since I'm right handed. On the left one I lay parallel on the side of the car and reach...
Yes from full stiff. I should mentioned that at least for my set, I don't think the valve is fully open at 20 as referenced in earlier posts. When I went full soft or 32 clicks from full, the suspension is way under damped resulting in a bouncier ride.
Just want to chime in as another happy customer. I dropped my car off at Redwood couple of weeks ago to install my sports coilovers and floating top hats. They really are right next to the mothership. I decided to do a mild 15mm drop since this is my daily shared by my wife and baby. As others...
Thanks for the update. How much drop did you go for and can you post a picture? I think you mentioned you were going for a mild drop. Also how long did the install take?
Do you just walk up to the service center and order a prepainted bumper? I hit something on the highway and took a few chunks of paint from the front bumper. I'm been researching ways to fix it, but if it's really only $365 for a new one then I'm inclined to DIY it.
I think you are right. I noticed that on multiple runs my subsequent runs felt stronger on take off, the tires were warmer and would have more traction. The temperature of the battery pack, in addition to the SOC would have an impact as well. Someone should do a back to back test with stock...
Most of the time I think SR is enough, but LR is definitely worth it for me. This past weekend I drove from Sacramento to Reno, which is only about 130 miles but has lots of elevation up the Sierra and could be cold and snowy in the winter. I left with 85% charge and got jammed up in long lines...
I would make sure the car has at least 80% charge before any test runs. I purchased the boost last night and went for a quick drive when the car only had 20% and I thought there was only a slight difference. I then charged the car to 80% and went for a drive again and the difference is quite...
Hi I'm wondering if anyone has the same issues with the TeslaOffer frunk kit as me. I purchased it when it first came out and it would work with an older version of their firmware but not the latest. The issue with the old firmware is that the frunk kit would reinitialize every time the car...
