    Lowering springs and alignments

I had the same problem when I got mine done. It is fine to get the alignment done while you're in the car. In some cases it can be helpful. If that is the configuration that the car is usually driven in, the alignment could actually be more accurate. I had to sit in the car with it in Neutral...

    TSportline lowering springs installed

Ok, I'm back... Here's a quick write up about the install process. Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, I'm not good about taking pictures during these things - sorry about that. Unplugged performance had instructions on their site that talks through how to do the swap. They were pretty good but...

    TSportline lowering springs installed

I installed my new TSportline lowering springs last weekend. Thought I would post a picture of the car with them installed for anyone considering getting a set. I did the installation myself. Figured out a few tricks along the way that would have saved a lot of time had I known about them first...

    Lowering springs and alignments

Thanks for sending the information. Looks like the toe wasn't too far off. I was contemplating the Eibach's as well. I'll try to remember to post a picture of mine when I get them done. Your car looks good even if it is lower than you expected. Glad to hear it is clearing all of the important...

    Lowering springs and alignments

I'll look forward to hearing about how your alignment goes. I am planning on installing the springs myself. I found a thread where someone posted the alignment specs. So assuming those are right I am going to try to take it to the shop I normally go to and get them to do it after I install the...

    Lowering springs and alignments

Thanks for the information. Do you know if it was out of spec after you installed the springs? I'm wondering if it makes a small enough change that it stays within spec.

    Lowering springs and alignments

Hi everyone - I'll apologize in advance if this topic was already discussed. I did a search and couldn't find it. I purchased some Tsportline lowering springs recently. I'm getting ready to install them myself. I've been looking for a local shop to do an alignment when I'm done but everyone I...

    Aftermarket wheels efficiency hit

Went to Michelin Pilot 4S tires and they are a bit wider. I drive about 36 miles each way. It technically is considered highway but it isn't unusual about half of it to be like city driving. ☹️

    Aftermarket wheels efficiency hit

Just curious what others are seeing for the efficiency loss after adding aftermarket wheels? It is hard to say for sure because it varies so much from many different factors. But I was often doing about 270 wh/mi back and forth to work and now it is looking like about 290-300 wh/mi. So that...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

@T3SMA - Sure. I’m a bit of a car geek and until recently a big Ford guy. I do love my new Tesla. It convinced me to give up my 2015 Mustang GT. I like to work on cars so most of mine are kit cars or have some sort of engine swap. I’ve got a 65 Cobra replica in there. Also have an 81 Fairmont...
