When did Supercharing get so expensive and why are Time of Use rates so varied (SE FL)

I never paid attention to the supercharging rates I was paying on road trips in FL, until this weekend. I had assumed pricing was around $0.30/kWh and there was no time of use pricing (as an AZ transplant, I figured that TOU pricing was for those out West). I was in for a shock. I looked at...

Insurance premiums for the Model 3

If you have enough assets to warrant an umbrella and you are safe drivers why have deductibles so low? Not a criticism just a question.

Insurance premiums for the Model 3

I do have max deductibles of 1000, I wish they allowed higher for owned (not financed) vehicles. Seems like a way for USAA to artificially keep premiums high. Example, Geico allows up to 2500. Question why carry collision on a 2010 Lexus?

Insurance premiums for the Model 3

If the insurance company thinks the car is safer your liability premiums will be lower, if they think the car is expensive to repair your collision premiums will be higher. Great point, shop around!

Insurance premiums for the Model 3

Another data point... USAA, collision and comp numbers only, 6 month premium: 2019 M3 SR - $700 2017 Honda CRV - $100 So Tesla costing me $1200 more per year, and it cost about the same as my Touring CRV.

Can you buy cash first, then finance after?

Yes, many banks or CUs consider the model year to define if you get the new or used interest rate. Example... Auto Loan Refinancing from PenFed - Find, Compare, and Apply Today "Vehicle's model year is 2020, 2019 or 2018...."
