Work in progress: stalks on 2021 Model S. (and optional round-y wheel)

This is a strange question, but up until now, the attempts at adding stalks have centered around Model 3 stalks, because those fit physically. Has anyone tried the original model S stalks? Perhaps they may not fit physically, but do work with the software. Probably not, but it’s possible. I no...

For Sale: Model 3 All Weather Floor Liners

EDIT: These are now sold. I have an extra set of all weather floormats for a Model 3, new in an unopened box. I had already bought a set, and my wife bought another set, then we never returned them. These sell for $225.00 direct from Tesla. (see website here...

Work in progress: stalks on 2021 Model S. (and optional round-y wheel)

[snip] You're right about this: it is a matter of preference. You're simultaneously missing the point, however: those that prefer a wheel and stalks have been given no alternative. We can't easily choose the option that we prefer. Now, don't get me wrong, Tesla doesn't have to provide us that...

Work in progress: stalks on 2021 Model S. (and optional round-y wheel)

That does look pretty good. I think I'd go with full leather, myself (I'm boring, it turns out). I managed to get used to the lack of stalks, somewhat, but that also is a huge problem for me. I mean, I can do it, it's just...worse. The wiper controls are actually the biggest issue, as the 3/Y...

Work in progress: stalks on 2021 Model S. (and optional round-y wheel)

I did see a thread about that, but most of them look downright fugly to my eye (like the TSportline one), or super boy-racer. I just want a first-gen S wheel to replace the yoke, but I suppose the Hansshow one does look OK-ish, even if the flat bottom is a bit lame (and ergonomically sub-par) in...

Work in progress: stalks on 2021 Model S. (and optional round-y wheel)

@strider nailed it there. Everything they seem to be doing is making things worse. The focus on cheap cheap cheap is a mistake, especially for the S/X. Sat in a Kia EV6 tonight, and the interior is nicer than my Model 3 Performance. That's right: A Kia (A BLEEDING KIA!!!!) has a nicer interior...

Work in progress: stalks on 2021 Model S. (and optional round-y wheel)

So, is this still a work in progress? I have spent a fair amount of time with a yoke, and it will 100% prevent me from buying another S. EDIT: Nevermind, just found @rhuber's last post saying it's dead in the water. Oh well. Someone will continue the work sooner or later, I'd wager.

    Supercharger - Concord, NH

You guys beat me to it by 10 minutes! Located behind the new liquor store.

    That’s not good!

    Supercharger - Concord, NH

This can’t come soon enough. Hooksett is utterly unreliable in terms of speed. I routinely struggle to get over 72kW there, though sometimes it’s better, there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when it’s slow and when it isn’t.

    Supercharger - North Conway, NH

And who would complain about losing an Applebee’s and gaining a Mexican restaurant?!?!?

    Supercharger - North Conway, NH

This charger is the last piece of the puzzle for being able to roam the upper reaches of NH with abandon. I can’t fathom why it took so long, but I’m thrilled it’s almost here!!!

    Supercharger - Wolfeboro, NH

Given that it’s the Wolfeboro Inn, destination chargers make sense. One Tesla HPWC and one Clipper Creek is a common installation at similar locations (see the John Hancock Inn in Hancock, NH). Reporters often don’t have in-depth familiarity with the subjects they cover, and not getting that all...

    Supercharger - Wolfeboro, NH

Ugh. Forums with dumb requirements like that are annoying. Thanks for the explanation. Of course this forum also lets you delete posts so this whole thing makes no sense now, as I did just that. You’re welcome. ;-)

    Supercharger - Wolfeboro, NH

The reporter calls them superchargers, but it’s clear that they are talking about destination chargers.

    Supercharger - Rochester, NH

If what I have read on this site about the Conway location is accurate, it's proposed for an Irving station that is likely to be an issue. That might explain why there's been effectively zero movement on that front. I will 100% agree with you, though, as Conway would make Portsmouth -->...

    Supercharger - Rochester, NH

Durham and Epping are also right in the seacoast area, which already has Seabrook. The area where they are truly needed are farther north. The planned Conway location would be ideal, as it would make trips up to Lancaster, Colebrook, and environs a lot less challenging. Last time I went up north...

Swap Model 3 USB-C for Lightning?

I have an extra USB-C cable for the Model 3, and need a Lightning cable in New England. Does anyone have the opposite problem and want to swap?
