    A good body shop guy would tell you to not touch it then if you're not willing to spend the $1K, since it will simply get damaged again one day. Hack job repairs aren't my cup of tea if you couldn't tell.

    A reputable shop wouldn't do this since they wouldn't be able to guarantee high quality results. It is impossible to perfectly match new paint to the existing paint. It's easy to spot painted car parts that are adjacent to untouched panels; not to mention on the same panel. That's really poor...

    It would seem the a DRL malfunction is also the source of a humming noise when the vehicle is powered down? I noticed this in the mornings, and preconditioning is off. I'm guessing it's related to my DRL which is out.

    EV TOU Charging

    OP I know this is an old thread, but you may want to look into the EV-TOU-5 plan offered in San Diego. You quoted super off-peak rate of $0.23/kWh, however, on this plan they offer that for $0.09/kWh with a $16 monthly fee. You'd make that up in 1 charge.

    Interested in these as I'm local. Would need you to quote me a slightly better price considering it will cost me $175 per wheel to fix the damage, and since based off your "penny test" picture the tires have maybe 3/32" tread left - meaning they need replaced now.
